Bleh, I turned 40 over the weekend, but at least my daughter isn't letting me take it too seriously. She got the family together to go in on a Wii on the pretext of getting me the Wii Fit Plus, but really I think she wanted to feed my inner child with "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" so I could use my Wii-mote as a lightsaber. Good kid.

I'll still make it awful for her, though. I'll get a custom Jedi costume made up and break it out the next time her dorm mates are down for a weekend in the big city. Embarrassing my child is my parental responsibility to keep her humble, right?

I received a notice they are moving my trash day from Tuesday to Friday. After 14 years of Tuesdays, that's really going to mess with my head!
