I added a new folder with pictures I took in Japan. I don't know how many pics an album can hold or I would add more- it says up to 60 pics in each folder but I loaded 145? 
Anyway- if you are interested they are there. There is a chance that in the beginning of next month I will be able to go back for a few weeks to pack my stuff up and say goodbye to my friends- hopefully spend a few days in Tokyo. I will be going all by myself (no toddler!) so I am pretty excited. It's hard not to get your hopes up.
_beans_ and I are excited about the upcoming silliness Vegas day in May as well. So far the year hasn't been awesome- but it's still January so I'm hoping it will turn around. The amount of stress we've been under has aged us. I feel ...old.
We got netflix and so far I am not that impressed. It seems like every movie I search for isn't there! We have watched about 100 episodes of 30 Rock, which is my new favorite TV show ever. I applied for a group but it got denied. Not that I am surprised.
Tell me- have you applied fora group and gotten denied? What was it for?
Have you any good suggestions for what to watch on Netflix?

If you click on the link, it has a sneak peek of both the womens and mens line for Summer 2012. I am so excited- and a little nervous. It's like, I'm pretty sure this is an excellent idea and I have a great location picked out- but you never know... What if I am throwing $10,000 down the drain?? 
It makes me sick when I think about it too much.
Speaking of awesome location, here it is. No other clothing stores on the block, and only 3 blocks from the beach.
This is actually the main drag of Ocean Beach, and if you are a tourist coming from the highway and follow the signs they will lead you right past it. It looks like it needs a little love, true, but I think I can doll it up enough. It has just the right amount of space for the amount of stock I plan on having, 2 dressing rooms and a couch or two for the people waiting. I have it all planned out in my head, I just hope that I can execute.
My mom runs the Los Alamos Small Business Association in New Mexico so she knows all about this and has been a huge help. Also, my friend Danny Heart at hartinez design is working on my logo and business templetes for a really reduced rate.
This isn't the 'real' logo- just one I made to tide me over until it's done. It's still in the works and TOP SECRET!! ...At least until I get it back
It's nice that I am still friends with people from high school- they've grown up to do some amazing stuff! Like my friend Ben- he is getting his PhD in Microbiology and is a tri-athlete. Not only that but he has a hobby of photography so he is taking some of my ad pictures and banners. His website is pretty good too- but I don't want to overwhelm him. He's the kind of guy who overgives. When we were in high school, his dad got him a nice car for Graduation, so he sold me his '91 Saturn for $100.

And since this somehow took a turn into pimping my friends and their amazing talents- check out La Junta. Even if I weren't in marching band with these dudes and smoking weed in the high school parking lot, I would still consider them one of the best musical acts I have ever heard. I mean, second to Kanye West
. But for real- if you have time to fuck around the internet this week, check them out and jam a little. The lead singer is one of those guys who is stupid talented at whatever he wants in life- jack of all trades, master of all. When he isn't lead-singing and writing music, he runs Food Tour New Mexico which guides you through all of the yummiest food in Santa Fe for a really reasonable price. If you ever end up in the Land of Enchantment- check it out.
Finally, I've known Andrew Montoya since we were 6 and in 1st grade. I come from a city small enough that we were in the same class as each other off and on for our entire K-12 lives. His artwork is award winning and he is so humble! The coolest part- he started out tattooing really horrible jail type tattoo's when he was in 7th grade (mostly gang signs and lighter smilie faces) and then, after high school opened up a business doing custom paint jobs on lowriders with like, Virgin Mary's and shit. Look at the craftsmanship:
That is one of my favorites. They say the mark of a man is the company they keep, and lately as I have gotten older and seen my friendships and my own life flower I have really been humbled by the talent I have been surrounded with my whole life. It's almost midnight and I feel like I could write this blog forever, but I'll cut myself off before this turns into something no one reads.
You should make one. I would totally cyber-stalk all of your talented friends.
