Not much new... gearing up for a slumber party for my daughter's birthday next weekend, and the Mudvayne/Korn concert the week after. BUT I did get a new little friend...



Isn't he the cutest? His name is Faulks (I dunno, the kids picked it... I think it's supposed to be like Fawkes the Phoenix in Harry Potter) and he's a cockatiel... I'm gonna teach him to say dirty words. Fun!

Well.

The mens Canadian hockey team sucks, don't they? I take a little but of comfort from the fact that the US men suck ass too... but how can I bitch about how many Europeans there are in the NHL now? I will have to stop now, suppose...

Not a whole lot new - I have an office as of March the 6th - woohoo!!! I will post a picture if and when I get one.

To all those who thought I died...

I'M BACK! AND ALIVE!!!

All moved and everything... most of the stuff is even put away. How much do I rock?

I love all of you who put up with my long absense and didn't even delete me from your list. And those who did... bah. Fuck 'em. If they were worth talking to, they wouldn't have deleted me in the first place.

I cooked for the first time since I moved today, which brought me to the realization that I do indeed suck at cooking, and there is a reason that the boy does it. Hmm. Now I know. I make a bitching good lasagne though...

I miss karaoke, but I don't miss the shit I felt like on Tuesday morning, going to work...

Um, I got a kind of promotion at work... the kind where you get more responsibilities, but they don't actually give you a raise or anything. That's ok, all in good time...

The Leaf game on Tuesday night was awesome! So glad to see my boys McCabe and Tucker back... I missed them something terrible.

Going to see Korn in April, at that Ricoh place that I've never been to... anyone seen anything there? What's the sound quality like?

You know, I seem to have run out of things to talk about. Now that the insanity of packing and moving is over with, my life has taken on a very calm and semi-predictable tone. Not too calm and predictable; that would be boring. But just enough to make me feel secure and happy with everything right now.

I'm sorry for being a really bad SG friend as of late... I have no excuse really except it's the holidays and I'm always busy around the holidays what with the kids and the family and all. I"m going to be a bad SG friend for a little bit longer too, because I will be in Niagara Falls until the 7th or the 9th or something. I promise to resume being a good SG friend when I return though! And yes, Lisseth, I will try and get those karaoke pics up as soon as I can!

Inkcasualty joined Swindy and I for the show, and he bought me a Depeche Mode sweater. Wasn't that nice? But then he left early...
