Sorry I haven't been on here so much lately, been very stressed with getting a mortgage looking for a decent house. So we found a nice house, it's a one bed house with a yard and across the road is some stables with some iccle horses...its not everyday you have horses to look at outta your window....
This week so far has been hell, I put in an offer on Monday for the house, I told the estate agents what was wrong with the place like abit of damp and the gutter would need replacing etc.....anyway the estate agents rang me back and yes the vendor accept the offer but there is a clause....we HAVE to get the mortgage through them (the estate agents), I have to do it asap and I cant go back to the vendor and say there is more things wrong with the house.....I was gob smacked!! So I told my broker Michael who said they can't do that, you could get your mortgage anywhere. So we did and applied for a mortgage (we being me and the boy) I flew through with flying colours but they declined us on my boy, the reason being.....he has no outstanding debts....so you have to be in debt to get yourself into more debt....the UK is totally backwards. I can understand a mortgage lender being cautious but you would have thought they would let us get one based on my credit history.....total bollocks.
Anyway I did another application and my mum is being a guarantor, she'll be on the legal forms until I can take her off in 3 years time. We are waiting for an answer.....so finger crossed EVERYONE please that they accept us. Please give me positive thoughts I really need them

I'm loving this song at the moment
its featured on Rockband which this weekend my boy bought ...BTW RB is so much better than Guitar hero, better songs anyway... we've only got the GH guitars, but planning on getting the set...drums look ace to play
Also this weekend I cleaned the house top to bottom, chucking loads of shit out, I sent a load of clothes to a charity shop called Oxfam. The shit that I cleaned out filled my car then I took it to the tip. I was fooked after, 4 hours of cleaning, not a good thing on a bank holiday
Also tThank you everyone who commented on my last blog, I never want to harm our relationship, so it'll be a nice little fantasy to go back to
What did you all get up too?

So this weekend took us up to a place called Dunkeld in Scotland. My boy was racing in the Scottish Downhill Mountain Biking round 1 event. He is even sponsored by Orange (the company he works for) Mountain Bikes now, which is a bonus coz I got to drive the Orange van up to the race. Now I have never ever driven anything this big before and to drive it just under 300 miles away, I was very nervous.....but I soon got the hang of it.
Here are some photos of the place we stopped and the massive van!!!
