I'm not updating this (not for real, anyway) until my living situation is a little more stable & I'm back to something resembling my life as I used to know it, which is not, you know, staying on a mattress in someone's spare bedroom while I apartment hunt & fight with my cunt-mouthed landlord who wants almost a thousand bucks because I forgot to clean the oven that I've used four times in the last thirteen months of living there. For the moment I'll leave you with a Pinhead Gunpowder quote:

This is how we learn from our mistakes
Repeat them over + again
Put them all together, that's what we do
With a little curtain separating each room
Argue, bicker and fight
Everyone plots their escape
But in the end there's nowhere else to go
This is all we have, this is all we know

If your lease allows you to recover attorneys costs upon winning - get a lawyer and take the bastard to court. but make certain that if the landlord recovers a reasonable amount for oven cleaning that you cannot be stuck with his legal fees!!!!

I was just wondering about you. I hear being out of touch weathering residential crisis. Me on the other hand, now that I'm finally set up at home, I never want to do anything online. I do hope all is as well as it can be and that it will heal itself quickly.

I was just listening to PG at Satellite recently but I never liked them. Still obscure mention though.

I like having things like heat, good scotch, fine tobacco products, & being surrounded by loose & immoral women who only like me for my money

I adore you. Thank you.

You're welcome to come over here and start mixing drinks, no problem. Seriously.

Home is ok. I'm currently working 7 days a week. My housemate goes in phases of entirely ignoring me to crawling into my bed at 3am. If this sounds perplexing to you, yeah, and if you have an opinion you can tell me. I come home from work, nap, meander, go back to bed and go back to work. I don't know what else to say to summarize anything.

I hope things straighten out by you.

Haha, well, I tend to be a fucking perfectionist, so it still bugs metongue

As for your opinion on the tone of CE, I really appreciate that, and I hope it continues to improve. I feel like most people do actually want to have a conversation, but snarkiness is just easier. As for SP, I really don't think he's trying to be a troll most of the time, which is why I gave him the benefit of the doubt when I became a mod.

Oh, and I always, ALWAYS type my long or thoughtful responses in a .doc, so internet whims wouldn't allow it to disappear.

The infinity room is pretty badass. It's actually suspended over nothingness, and towards the end of the room there's a box that you can look down into...and see the forest forty feet below. Really awesome.

You want to hear something funny? I keep writing out intricate replies in that thread and then just deleting them, because it is so full of arrogance and ignorance. That post was actually a long post linking to civil rights actions that had taken place in the past few decades....i read that dude's post and was like "fuck it" and deleted it.

I will work on something for you though.

i have engaged a one of them, and i am a pretty tolerant person. The train of thought heard of stampeding thoughts that make absolutely no sense, starts to get to me after a while. When someone can't organize their thoughts enough to actually make me take them seriously, there is a problem. Especially when you ask them a question and they disengage themselves from the actual conversation and start blurting out things that have nothing to do with the thread.

I'm writing this from Oklahoma. That should give you a pretty good idea.

her critical thinking concept is flawed, she's biased and she doesn't see it or just doesn't care to see it.

I called about the job already, he is going to call me back to set up a second interview.

Well, I chose the major as an addition to my Japanese Lit major. I thought it would be fun. I was so, so wrong. There's barely any soul in the English classes I have to take. The basic textual analogy class was awesome, but I had a good professor. After that it was all crappy Lit Hist Survey courses (two of which I've failed out of boredom and apathy) and a Shakespeare course (which made me die a little on the inside).

Good luck going back to school.

Anthropology is really interesting. I think it would have a lot of real-word value, namely with any job in which you would have to deal with people from many different cultures.
