And with that, I booked my tickets to see The Gories and The Oblivions in Memphis in June.
This will require leaving work and hitting the road directly, for the fifteen hour, one-thousand plus mile journey. Can't decide if I want to book a nice hotel room online or settle for a motel upon arrival. I'll barely be there long enough for a shave, a shower, and a nap before I'll be back on the road Sunday afternoon/morning, first to Graceland, then back onto the road to hopefully arrive at home in the wee hours and sleep before work on Monday.
Remember, Chris Sick brings the party wherever he goes..
Bachelors know all about parties. In fact, a good bachelor is a living, breathing party all by himself. At least that is what my girlfriend said when she found the gin bottles under the couch. I believe her exact words were, "You're a disgusting, drunken mess." And that's a good description of a party, if it's done right.
