Weekend update... on a Tuesday
Life has been a little crazy back in buffalo.
Teaching has been effing amazing, i'm loving nearly every second of it, sans my students looking at me like i'm the boring-est thing since ben stein taught the savage boys. I decided i'm going to teach again in the fall, the money will be nice and hopefully it will eventually look really nice on a resume.
My research has slowed to a crawl, my professor who is moving to California on the 15th was away for the entire summer until yesterday. His absence was ill timed to say the least and i'm not looking forward to working on my research with him being on the other side of the country. That being said, I think his move could benefit me in a few months when I move to California myself. We had a meeting yesterday that reinvigorated me and gave me hope that all is not lost just yet. For the first time in 2 months i have a list of things i can do to hopefully get things back on track so i can start collecting data this fall!
Lastly I was at might taco a few minutes ago, and this girl.. who was pretty cute totally checked me out.. i've never been checked out by a girl before (at least with me noticing). I have to say I enjoyed it very much, this should happen more often. I would have said something to her if she wasn't with who appeared to be her little brother and his friends.
