I met someone... I think. I have her card. Should I call? Too much of a puss... would she just laugh and hang up? That'd be pretty funny. But what if we talked... what even happened that night? I can barley remember what she looked like... I know she had tattoos... ha. Lame. I think we danced, or was it her pushing me away but choreographed? Ha.

Hermosa was fun today... too bad the shop didn't have the sneakers I wanted, so I just ordered them online. Damn. Started work on my friends tattoo, just have a black and white outline at the moment but once I print it out I'll add more detail.

Kind of bummed I didn't go to ASB4, but oh well. Driving for two hours alone didn't appeal to me and being exhausted as I was after the party... I didn't feel like doing much.

Machine Girl is an awesome movie! I also picked up Lady Vengeance, which I've seen, but wanted to add to my collection.

Work work work work work work work...

But I'm doing good at saving money and my Snap-On is paid off... finally. So that'll get me into good credit graces. Hopefully my 350Z is come into picture by next year.

I've also been going for walks every night, about 3.5 miles in total; plus I'm eating better to boot.

The roommate situation is getting rough around the edges and starting to become tiring. I don't even feel like it's partially my apartment at all; I'm usually locked inside my room as I can't stand one person in particular.

I also need a new tattoo... there's a sweet grim reaper drawn by Angry Blue that I would really like on my side. Or just about anything really, maybe the five-fingered hand of Eris. Still havn't found any good Martial Law artwork that I'd like to get either.

Meh.

Oh I almost forgot! I'm going to see Eddie Izzard at the Kodak theater in August! Booya! I also saw him a few days ago at a secret show in LA! He is soooo awesome!

New work position, more pay
Same tattoos, a new one on the way
No girl [see: "still"]
Still in school, learning a lot, hating the kid that sits behind me and the middle-aged guy that sits in front and to the left
Trying to eat better, going somewhat well
Trying to exercise, raising the remote ain't cuttin' it
Trying to regain a social life... not many to work with

Well I start school tomorrow... shit, 4 years now it's been since I last was in a classroom.

Hopefully it goes well; I really want to learn all this.

So I'll be starting the Inventory Control Specialist position at work soon, within the next week or two. I can't wait; I'm starting to get sick of being the "senior" parts clerk... No one wants to listen to me, yet they all as me for help. Wonderful. I've basically gave up on trying to help everyone, if they want to screw around then fine. Fuck 'em.

It sucks feeling like you're the only one doing any actual work most of the time. While it may appear that all I do is stand at the computer and read Digg articles or the latest news on BBC, I'm actually rather busy. Constantly busy.

I've trained four people, soon to be six when my friend and another person gets hired. And somehow they feel they've the right to do whatever they want, which usually gets them yelled at... which is fine by me because they're the ones who claim I do nothing all day and are amazed when they spot me lifting something.

Feh.

"Hey Mike, can you help me with this tire?" Sure
"Hey Mike, can you check if this is the right part?" No problem
"Hey Mike, I can't find where this bearing is" Whats up? What section are you looking in
"Hey Mike I'm cutting a nine foot piece of chain but I want to make sure I'm doing it right" Alright man, let me take a look.

As soon as I turn around...

"Wow, Mikes actually doing something!"
"Is that all you do, stand around and look important"

I don't know if it's because they're a few years older than I am, or that they came from "Supervisory" capacity jobs before this one... but even if they don't listen to me, they should listen to Dawn, but they don't and they end up getting yelled at which just makes me laugh now.

Moving along at work, going to be an Inventory Control Specialist... hopefully I'll kick enough ass to become the Manager of that title.
