Alright, so I'm now officially leaving for real. Just cancelled my account. I'm out on July 14th. Had a lot of good times here, met my girlfriend and many of my best friends here, but there are a lot of things I don't like about the way this place is run and I just don't use it much anymore. I only really ever use the forums anymore, and I have a sneaking suspicion that my money would be better spent at nerve.com. Ta!

So, false alarm on the leaving. They decided not to cancel my account for a full two weeks, leaving me time to get paid. Woo.

I'm still pissed off about a lot of stuff around here, but I'm addicted to the forum. Why can't I quit you, SG? frown

Hey all, looks like this is my last day on SG for a while... I'm flat-out broke, and I can't really afford the "new pricing rates." It sucks to be me! See y'all around!

Sooo... does anybody want to hire me over the summer?

Nothing like going home for a week to remind you just how uncomfortable your school mattress really is.

So I tried Salvia tonight. It didn't work. Very dissapointing.

I'm in Atlanta for Spring Break right now. Not a whole lot to report, really; seeing friends and such. Wrote a new song for We're Not Really a Group, and recorded another, which is good stuff. I miss my Piski like whoa. Woo!

So, today I got my very own "funny piercin' story."

For the last opera I was in, I had to take out the two CBRs in my cartilage. Today, I went to get them put back in. I went in, indicated the two little holes in my ear and gave them the jewelery, saying "I need to put these back in." The piercer takes me back, gets all set up, puts the taper through. "Hmmm," I think, "that's odd. That doesn't feel like my cartilage at ALL. That feels more like... my earlobe?" So I hop up and go to the mirror. Sure enough, there's a taper through my lobe!

See, I've had this cyst in my earlobe since I was about nine. Apparently, it looks and feels to a piercer EXACTLY like what happens when you remove an ear piercing. So she had assumed that's what I had meant, and that I was just a really quick healer. This is followed by about two minutes of hysterical laughter on my part, and a lot of "I swear, I've never been pierced there," followed by about a minute of apologies from my piercer. When I explained what the lump in my ear REALLy was, she became absolutely fascinated, and spent a good ten minutes squeezing cyst out of the newly-created hole in my ear! She didn't even charge me for putting the other jewelery back in. I think she was just relieved I wasn't mad. Truth be told, she did me a favor, a dermatologist would have charged me a couple hundred bucks to do the same thing. biggrin

Happy valentine's day everyone, especially my darlin' Piski. She's feeling all sick today, so go over and give her some lovin'. love

Alright, so I'm back in New York after Christmas break, about to start the most intense rehearsal schedule of my entire life. But it's only for a month: I'm in the chorus of The Merry Widow February 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th, for those of you who care.

Piski is making me dinner tonight. She is all kinds of awesome. Also, a warm welcome to our mutual friend Rigadoon.

I'm watching the slow, painful dissolution of my group of high school friends. Well, one less thing to miss while I'm in New York, I guess. It's all over really dumb shit, too; this is what happens when nobody leaves their hometown but you. So it goes. whatever

Sorry I haven't been active on SG lately. 3 operas in 3 months + new girlfriend + trying to do my freshman and sophomore years at the same time = eeek. I hope you understand.

P.S. Happy SG anniversary to me. biggrin

Happy post Thanksgiving, y'all! Sorry I haven't been around at all... life has been ridiculous lately.
