It's been an exciting few months since the last time I posted a blog here.
I discovered that I was pregnant October 1st. It wasn't quite planned but we didn't exactly try to prevent it. Overall I'm excited but there are some problems. Shortly after I found out I was pregnant my company reported that there would be a bunch of temporary lay offs starting November 1st. I was told I would be able to keep my benefits, but right after the layoffs were announced Justin lost him job and neither of us had the money to pay rent, or any other bills. So my temporary layoff turned into a permanent one after we moved back in with his parents.
Luckily they'll let us stay here as long as we need to get back on our feet. They saved Justin's old baby crib and we're changing one of their extra bedrooms into a nursery. I've had two doctors appointments in the meantime. Though I haven't gotten an ultrasound yet everything else points to the fact that my baby is healthy. His heartbeat is strong and I felt the first bit of movement this week. Though things are rough I'm still very excited.
Right now I'm about 16 weeks along and my due date is May 16th.

Franc is growing up. He's so cute.

I walked out on my job today.
I'm sick of the managers and higher ups pretending to know anything about teamwork while they sit at their desks and overwork their employees.
I have worked so hard for this company and all I've gotten out of it is fucked up wrists and a tiny paycheck.
I don't know if I'm going to go back for good. If I can find a new job in the next few days I'll put in my two weeks notice and move on.


On a better note, me and Justin got a new kitten.
He's absolutely adorable. His name is Franc and he's nine weeks old. He is such a love muffin.

It's been a while since I made a post.
Work has been really crazy for me. Luckily the tendinitis is better and I only get a little bit of pain when I have to lift something really heavy. I work second shift now, so I'm not doing all the hard work that the day housekeepers do.
Still, I can't wait for vacation week to be over.
Apparently this week there are a couple of celebrities staying at the hotel. One is a guy from some soap opera. I have no idea who he is.
The other one is the man who played Commander William Riker in Star Trek: the next generation.
He's a pretty cool guy and has a nice family. I have to go to the room their staying in to make up the pull out bed for his children, and we all chat and it's a really nice part of an otherwise crazy day.

Anyway. I have to go get ready for another crazy night. Hopefully it won't be so crazy.

I've recently developed tendinitis in my left wrist (Thanks to my crappy job). I probably shouldn't even be typing right now, but I can't stay away from the internet.

Anyway, worker's comp. is covering all the medical expenses, but my supervisor doesn't seem to get the idea that I'm hurt. When I told her that I wasn't supposed to vacuum, she replied, "Well, can't you just use your other hand." So I'm still working like there isn't anything wrong.
So I have a feeling this is going to take a long time to heal.


The good news is I can still ski. Hopefully I can get a few runs in before it starts to rain tomorrow.
And it's going to snow on Friday.

Fuck I'm so pissed right now.
All that friend drama is started to catch up with me again.
Apparently I'm a horrible person because I cut ties with her. (She didn't say this someone else did in her defense)
I'm supposed to feel bad for her because she's been sick and in and out of the hospital and she's been trying to call (She only called once or else my caller ID would have shown me her name more)

Of course I don't remember having any visits when I was in and out of the hospital with a burst cyst, or even when I asked for a visit.
I suppose the person was trying to make me feel bad, but it only made me feel more sure about everything.

I gotta go back into work tonight too. So my day just keeps getting better and better.

Me and Justin are considering moving to Colorado.


And right now I'm watching Goosebumps on Cartoon Network. I don't remember it being so stupid.

Is it wrong that I don't want to be friends with someone whom I've know most of my life just because of the guy she's choosing to marry?
I mean. The guy has threatened to leave her, treats her like shit and isn't at all the kind of guy she should be with.
That's not really what bothers me though. It's the fact that I know she would chose him over me in an instant. In a lot of subtle ways she already has.
The last time I talked to her was when her fiance said that he didn't love her and was going to leave her (but still said that he'd marry her next year.) He agreed to stay for at least two weeks before he made a final decision.
During this time I asked if she wanted to come up and visit me, because she hadn't seen my new place and she was always saying how much she wanted to come.
Her reply was that she wasn't sure if she could make the time because she had to finish the attic at her parents house (she was converting it to a bedroom so her and asshole could live there) and that was the last time I spoke to her. I was reading her Xanga the next day and she was talking about going to the Zoo with the fiance during the day that I had asked her to come up. That's definitely not working on the attic.
It hurt me a lot.
The worst part is that I haven't talked to her since, and I miss her so much. I just don't want to set myself up for constant disappointment.


I guess I'm just feeling down today. Now that Justin is working opposite hours than me (I work from 8:30am to 4 PM. He works from noon to ten) I haven't had much to do. I can't drive anywhere because I need to be close to home to pick him up from work. No one wants to come up and visit me and I only have one new friend up here.
I've got to find something to do beside talk to my dog.
Though he is a very good listener.
