in tonight's guided tour of my mind i'd like to discuss the idea of and the concept of the tech involved in the movies Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Paycheck . in the sense of how useful tech like that would be in erasing experiences that cause nightmares, or PTSD. or if the tech could be reversed to correct diseases like Alzheimers, or used as a tool to speed up education or training. but this is all hypothetical speculation since the tech is all fictional, so i digress.
speaking of memory related issues, its interesting how the mind works. a song, a smell, or a taste can bring forth memories. like anise cookies always remind me of christmas when i was a child. certain songs remind me of times and places like
reminds me of the time i lived in texas and every saturday me and my stripper girlfriend would kill time downtown in junk shops and music stores then head to some shitty little coffee shop for lunch and clove cigarettes, so 90's right? but i cant remember the name of the first girl i kissed or had sex with for that matter, but i can tell you what she looked like and how it happened and that she smelled like coco butter and vanilla.
but that seems to be the case with most of my experiences.
here is some music.
