Hmmm I always listen to some Regina Spektor, Thao with the get down stay down or Big D and the Kids table when I need a pick me up.

but it also depends on what you like.dislike to begin with and where you want to go... i tend ot mtach moods with music... but im sure i havea suggestion or 5 for ya...

im odd in that i go for the music and not the lyrics... but for both...

the beastie boys - pauls boutique in particular as a whole album

deee-lite
lily allen is a guilty pleasure
santigold/santogold - her new album is quite beat driven, so that may help.
