September, my least favorite month... especially when people bring up the eleventh and where they were or what they were doing. September 11, 2001 i was finishing my third deployment Saudi Arabia. i was supposed to leave Saudi that day, fly back to the United States, and be home on the 15th. pick up my fiance and take her to meet my parents....but that didn't happen...what did happen, is my fiance went about her day unaware that it would be her last. you see she worked as an assistant in one of the buildings. i was in the military i knew that i could possibly die because of my job. i didnt expect someone i loved to become collateral of a global police action.
