Just hit something today where I was reminded again that I do feel things and am susceptible just like anyone else, I hate and love it at the same time. On the one hand the inherent nature of being human is just that...being human, all the faults all the benefits etc and that's great. On the other hand sometimes I'd like to just not be vulnerable, I see friends get hurt all the time and I'm always there to be leaned upon but as a result I try to shut out those things so as to not be in the same boat. It's a cycle and I'm just hitting the "Why does it hurt" part again. I hate this part.
