Well, the gang and I went to see the SG Burlesque on Friday. We had a good time though we were all a little antsy during the bands. It seems the girls in our group were even more anxious than the guys to see the headliners. We didn't stick around for the afterparty - we were off to 'The Slipper Room' for more go-go action. Culminating in grilled cheese at Odessa. Well, the evening didn't end there, but the story does.

Just got back from Vegas. The Rockaround was fun but a bit too cliq-ish. Luckily, the locals were friendly and enjoyed partying.

I went into a dive bar on Essek Street on Thursday night. There was a SG sticker on the bathroom door and it reminded me that I have not checked my journal in quite sometime.

The winds of change are blowing ... and let it not be said that my apartment doesn't also blow ... so i am changing it.
Tearing down panel and wall paper, spackling and sanding and painting.
And I'm doing it all on a shoestring budget. I'm like Bob Villa with SARS.

It looks like I may be leaving for Florida tomorrow. Gonna be gone for about 9 days. Yeah, you better believe I'm gonna see the big rat while I'm down there. Ahhh lazy Sundays. I woke up too late to meet up with anyone for brunch so I will lay around the house and read the paper instead. It's a cold and rainy day anyway.

Went to see The World Inferno Friendship Society last night. They were rockin and I was having a good time until my date started askin if I loved her and crap. Anyone else find it amusing that the war starts during Primetime? It aint even Sweeps Week.
