ok, so i've decided...
i will miss everyone on here, but i think it is time.
don't worry, my account is paid up through the end of september so i will still be around for a while.

i also need to find someone to take over my duties as administrator for the UpstateNY group. that poor group needs some love, it has been shuffled and juggled back and forth more often than children of battling divorcees. so, if you are interested and think you can do a good job let me know and i will pass the baton (or what have you) onto the next worthy person.

so i feel like i'm slowly growing away from the whole SG thing. most of my friends on here have either left for good or have disappeared leaving their accounts active which continues to put money in SGs hands (which to me is silly). the few really good friends who are still here i have other ways of contacting and they see me in person once in a while anyway.
i actually started to come to this realization at Toronto Gala. don't get me wrong i helped to run it and set it up, but it just didn't feel the same to me as the last ones have. i still enjoyed myself, but not as much as i have in the past. it's hard to explain really. it just didn't feel like my scene anymore i guess is the best way to put it.

tomorrow at 7 pm i will be on a plane headed for milwaukee... from there i will be getting on a plane for albequerque. then i get picked up by my baby and she will drive me to her new place in santa fe.

so, on june 2nd i will be flying out to spend 9 days in Santa Fe NM with my baby. then, when i fly back she will be coming back as well to attend TO Gala with me. so all of you get to meet her... she said to warn you all that she is a ninja though... yeah, she's kinda weird, but i love her. she's gonna stay here with me for a week and then head back to the desert. we are still waiting to see what to do about our living situation at the moment. one way or the other we will be together though... so that's nice to know.
aside from that i spent the last 4 days scrapping the paint off of one side of my cottage... gonna repaint her... she needs sprucing up a bit. also, did a little landscaping out front. planted a few shrubs, lilies, ferns, decorative grass, and a few other flowering things i can't remember the names of. still trying to kill off all the damned mos that grows in my front yard though. the backyard is fine, just a few weeds (got weed n feed for that), but the front yard is a mossy wonderland... and i want it gone! hmmm, what else, oh yeah, bought eaves for the front of the house... there were none before... seriously who doesn't put eaves on a house? weird! gonna put those in with the dad tomorrow... should be fun since neither of us has done it before... lol.
more? ok, darby ate one of those outdoor Raid ant bait station things the other day... took her straight to the vets... he said not to worry cuz the active ingredients in those things is so low that she wouldn't have a chance of becoming toxic... i was relieved. silly dog.
aside from that everything here is just going.

fergie, my girlfriend, who i love very much finally moved to santa fe, nm. we knew it was going to happen (or at least we were fairly certain). she had made the plans before we met and started dating (it's a long story, so i won't bore you). anyway, she left this past wednesday and should be there by sunday evening. it is not easy to handle right now because i'm used to seeing her every weekend. this will be the first weekend i haven't seen her since just after we started dating and she went to richmond to visit her sister (and that was tough enough). i've already bought a plane ticket to go and see her for the first week of june... so it won't be too long before i see her, but it's still tough.

hmmm, so i've been slacking... again. i keep up with the updates for the Gala, but everything else i sort of let slide.

ok, long time no post... geez! i'm getting bad at this shit.
anyway, had a really good weekend... well aside from my dog eating my girlfriends underwear (again) and this time her fave pair of roxy PJs as well... anyone have a suggestion to keep her from doing it? she seems to do it when we either A) aren't around or B) are having the sex... i think she is jealous.
fergie and i also went back to John at Scarab in syracuse (where i have gotten all of my piercings) and got new holes... she got her lip done on the side (very cute) and i got another bar added to my collection of bars in my left ear... this one makes 4 now. i'll post pics of it later.
when i got home today my trees from the national arbor day foundation were here... i was excited! i joined the foundation a few months ago and sent them a donation and they sent me 10 little baby trees and a baby shrub. when i say baby, i mean it too... they were like one twig with roots... lol. it will take forever for them to grow (if they can survive my soil that is). i'm keeping my fingers crossed.
other than that we hit the 200 mark for guests for the Toronto Gala over the weekend... get your requests in quick!

so i have 2 things for you people out in SG land today.
first, i went to use my new canon digital rexbel xti yesterday and the damn flash won't pop up. so now i have to ship it to a repair center and mess around with all of that crap. i just bought the thing at christmas time for shit sakes.
the second thing is pretty funny actually. my girlfriend and i were having sex yesterday. in the middle of everything we hear the cat scurrying around the living room like a psycho and then hear high pitched squeeling. we figure we better check on it so i get up (reluctantly) and go out into the living room. when i get there i see my cat Gadget chasing a small furry woodland creature around the house... which she then chases into the bedroom and scares the crap out of my girlfriend. so for the next 20 minutes or so i round up the cat and dog to put them on the porch out of my way, laughing at my girlfriend as she jumps around on the bed in a panic completely naked and catching the little thing (which turned out to be a mole, how strange) and let it go way out in my backyard next to my neighbors shed... lol. so yeah, i had an interesting day yesterday to say the least.
next a question for all of you... who's going to Toronto Gala?!? you'd better be going, and you'd better sign up fast... the guestlist is filling up quick!
