i love dreaming of you.

i dreaded it a few years ago. the dreams were so vivid that i was crushed by the weight of realism...we were no longer together. i would clutch my pillow as the tears grew in my eyes....beg God for more time.

i never received it and my own dreams betrayed me.

things have changed soooo much.

i woke today with a smile on my face. i couldn't contain the words from my lips, "did you dream what i dreamed? i love you so much!!"

i say your name over and over like a mantra as fall asleep. hoping for a glimpse as i fade into the dreaming.

a glimpse of your face...your smile.

i crave it. i pray for it because i don't fear the dreams any longer. it's the only place we are safe.

i treasure it.
