I know this is hardly the least realistic thing that happens in movies, but I suppose the difference is that in reality I'm not worried about my car exploding into a ball of flame if it rolls over or a hail of automatic gunfire striking the ground around me but leaving me unscathed.
I guess the reason I'm feeling sensitive to such everyday tropes is that things don't seem to be working out quite so smoothly. Things end, and you figure it's a chance for a new beginning. You try, you fail, and then you realise you're back at square one again, and you weren't much good at this to begin with.
Maybe life is like a movie, but I just haven't realised that most of us are extras. Anyway, this is getting way too livejournal, so I'll leave it there.

You're right, 3D didn't do much for the movie. It's only fair I see it again, definitely 2D this time. But hey, at least there was no love story in it. 
I loved it, will probably rant about it later on today.
As far as I know, the photographer just thinks there's no market for it here in South Africa, so he'll launch it in Europe. It will be quite expensive and fancy, so not sure how will that work out or why the stuff am I one of the models, but whatever. I'm happy just with getting cool pics out of it.
Oh, about Blizzard! Damn, I think I'm still in denial about that one. It just seems silly (and bloody damn expensive) getting a whole new computer just to get to play the game when I have a perfectly good (but old) desktop and a laptop. I'm all kinds of torn here, I've been waiting for the bloody thing for so long and always hoped they'll launch the console and PC version at the same time. 
But thank you for making me feel better. First world (kind of) problems, hey?
