So...my birthday today. Good one in many ways. Got a HP netbook laptop from my parents, so I'm Yay-ing at the moment.

Bad thing is that I haven't heard from my supposed best friend for ages, not even an SMS to say "happy birthday" today. I guess she isn't interested in keeping up contact with me any longer .

Yay job offer! Got a letter from work today asking me if I was interested in working there during the summer. I'm really not, but I like money, so I'm obviously going to take the job offered.
The only dilemma now is that there's a two-month gap between me getting laid off and then starting to work again, thus I need something to do. I wonder if the unemployment agency will let me be on unemployment without looking for a job since I'm starting that job again. That would be really nice, because it'd mean I'd suddenly have a whole lot of time to do something funny. I'm thinking about buying an Interrail Card and taking a trip around Europe if possible .

Was in a car accident yesterday. Brother had to swerve to avoid t-boning a car driven by a stupid cunt who didn't signal a turn. We instead hit a Huge Pile O' Snow at 80 kilometers per hour. Brother is not happy about his car. I'm not happy about my neck either.

I'm hungry. I'm going to take care of that nao. Pizza, beer, ice cream, rum and coke, probably watch Hellsing again, or perhaps The Day Of The Jackal. Hm, Jackal sounds better. Nothing like a good thriller .

I'm also more or less broke, except for my meager savings, and it's 18 days till my next pay check arrives .

Figured out another thing for next year that I want to do: Attend the Ink & Iron tattoo convention in Los Angeles . Expensive as fuck, and that's only the admission to the convention. With plane tickets and hotel I expect it to cost a wee bit more. With a bit of luck I'll make it over .
