Just cancelled my SuicideGirls account. I'll still be here until the end of October, I think, but unless I become more financially stable by then I just can't justify it. There are a few awesome people I'll miss hearing from here, though I've added a few of you on facebook or google+ already.
For the most part, though, I don't really find the site itself to be worth a paid subscription anymore. Only a couple of the girls on my favorites list ever manage to make the front page these days, and too much of what does end up there is just very... repetitive and bland. I'd love to be able to keep access to the groups and the feed from friends' blogs if I could and just skip the main sets entirely, but that's not an option.
Bleh. I may be back at some point, but I'll probably be gone for a few months at least.

Woohoo! I sent an anonymous comment to Kittie's Tumblr and she said that I was awesome. That totally made my day, and injected me with some much-needed confidence. Now I need to take that confidence and pour it into writing this book!
Ignore the previous post. An alternate diagnosis that I did not find online is "You ate fenugreek leaves." Which, as it happens, I did. No diet adjustment for me!
Okay... so... Yesterday I noticed that, for some reason, I smelled like maple syrup. So as a joke, I decided to look up medical conditions for the symptom of "smelling like maple syrup." I expected a diagnosis like "you eat too messy" and a prescription of "stop eating all them pancakes and wash yourself, fool!"
Instead, it turns out to be a metabolic disorder that prevents your body from properly digesting protein. This can result in mental deterioration and possibly death. Treatment consists of essentially changing your diet to a special form of baby food for the rest of your life. Fucking hell. I hope that shit is NOT what I have, but that's all the info I can find online.

Worn out from watching all the E3 stuff. Loved some of the games, Skyrim and Battlefield 3 being standouts. Excited for the Wii U, even if I think the name is totally Takei. Bring on the new Zelda!
I have power and internet again! But more importantly... HOT SHOWERS! Going a week with only cold water to bathe in was NOT fun.
