So I'm watching this program in the military channel about robotic warriors and it has me wondering: How long until we end up in the mech wars?

Think about it: we develop increasingly sophisticated robots that are sometimes autonomous and sometimes remotely operated by a human. How long until one of our robots encounters an enemy robot? Probably not too long... Once we start engaging enemy robots with our robots, I suspect it will not take long until that becomes the norm.

It's just a matter of time until we reach the mech wars.
