I went to the SPCA today to get a kitten.

Somehow, I ended up coming home with two of them...

Gaige (the tabby) and Lilith. Those of you who play Borderlands will get where I got the names from. They are currently exhausted on the bed, after running around and around my room non-stop for the last hour.

In other news, I finally got my driver's license. Wrote a couple of blogs about my trip to Brazil.

Would you be open to sporadic coffee-related questions, Calico? There aren't many local roasters, here, and I was wondering if there were some key points I could look for in identifying solid roasters who sell online.

No worries and no rush. You're doing me a favor and I was wicked busy this weekend anyhow.

I'm actually moving "soon" and have to buy my own coffee equipment for the new place. The brewer is either going to be a Hario V60 or a Cafe Solo, and I ordered a Porlex hand grinder. I tend to prefer bold coffees with any amount of chocolates and subtle or moderate amounts of fruit, but I avoid buttery blends entirely. I always drink my coffee black, no sugar.
