So I just went to the gym and while washing my hands the scent of pina colada found my nose and I couldn't help, but think that I'd rather be somewhere tropical.

When I wake up tomorrow it will be Monday. Why do I have these vile thoughts!

So glad that it's Friday already! This week has seemed so short and yet, has drawn out somehow. Doesn't help that it's still snowing here and is expected to through to Sunday! Somebody please drag me happily from this valley! Give me a good reason to drop everything and run from this place.

It's funny, even with my family and having spent my whole life here I've never, as long as I could comprehend, felt at home here. I feel more at home on the road and in different states and cities than I ever have actually being at home. I could be living out of a hotel somewhere and feel more at home. Reminds me of that movie 'Up in the Air' with George Clooney.

Well, once again, it's after one in the a.m. and I'm still awake and will be clinging to sleep in the morning when my alarm goes off. Insomnia...

Why do most people insist on being stupid? They must know that the shit that they say is blatantly retarded! Is there some joy in being an imbecile that I am just missing out on?

I love my hair treatment(pomade)! It has the greatest smell to it! If only they could rename it Dapper Dan and then all would be right in the world, but the Dude abides. Yes... You know he does!

In mine own mind... There is nothing better than blues guitar. Listening to some live SRV tonight and it always has a way of putting my mind in some better place. Been listening to a lot of Joe Bonamassa lately as well and just picked up some new (to me) Jimmy Reed albums. I am a music addict... a junkie! Why does my obsession not entail me to some sort of natural talent on said instrument!

Also been thinking lately a lot about our world and the divisive structure that we restrain it to. Where the fuck do we come up with these invisible borders and barriers geographically and mentally? Why do people insist that there is any real meaning to these borders? Why do we insist on placing divisions on everything and then thinking that we are better than anybody on the other side of these mental constructs?

I am frustrated with the way our society has ultimately unraveled and believe that we have so much more potential than our limited views have brought us to thus far.

We are a society on the precipice of a new era in history and the accepted ways in which we handle ourselves is at a teetering point. We as a collective hold the power to tip the future towards that more noble and meaningful existence. Humanity deserves better than what humanity is presenting. We're better than this.

Okay... This snow shit has got to end. Morning commute today was loads of fun!

Need to manage some pic, music, and movie files on my computer today and this upcoming week. I've been putting it off for like a year now, but I really need to take care of it. I hate dealing with tedious shit like this. Like going through my junk mail. I let it build up until it takes me an hour to sort through. Think I'll just start collecting it and burning it in large quantities in the bonfires of summer weekends!

I am done with winter already. I need a new climate to live in! We went from 60℉ to two of the worst snow days we've have all winter... It's spring all fucking ready! Let us get the bikes out of the garage already!
