Hello my loves!

I'm braving the keyboard again, but this time a little more healed up. I should probably still be in the sling, but I really want to gently stretch out my arm and shoulder, everything was getting so stiff. I have been working the last few days, putting myself on light duty, being kind of pitiful when it comes to our gowning procedures, thank goodness for my amazing friends that are also my dear, patient coworkers. I'm starting to be able to move my arm and shoulder a little more every day without wincing in pain, which is awesome, since it's only been a week. On June 4th, I go see the orthopedic surgeon I was referred to for my follow up, to see how everything is healing and to see if, in the future, I'll need surgery to make sure I don't continue to dislocate this shoulder, since I had sprained it over a year ago, and now this dislocation. JOY!

My parents were very kind and caring while I've been injured and while Corey was away, helping me run errands, bringing me food since I was having so much trouble getting up and down the stairs to make food, and there wasn't much in the apt since I couldn't really get to the store. They took me to see Dark Shadows on Saturday too, and I had the most pitiful moment of my injury..ever....I had my hands full of concessions and a severe lack of balance and couldn't grab ahold of the escalator to go up...my parents left me at the bottom, then my dad raced back down to help me up. Yeah...pitiful.

My leg is almost all healed up too, after a small infection scare and a lot of soreness, now just finish peeling and then go back in to finish filling it in. I'm excited for it to be done!!!
zoom image
zoom image
Just a couple more inches of band to fill in and the flower! Then the old garter will be no more!

So on to Rammstein!!! It was a great show, absolutely amazing. My dad had a blast, and the person I took in place of Corey (since he was leaving on his trip) was my coworker and good friend Rainbow. I'm pretty sure the last concert she went to was the Stone Sour concert I saw with her when I was....16....yeah....she needed that! I was very pleased that it was a completely different show from the one I saw last year. We had really good seats too! Aaaaand I got to have a beer during the show...I love being 21!

So the opener was Joe Letz (if you know me, you know he is one of the drummers from Combichrist and I've had him in my car)
This guy
zoom image
He's scary tall
But anyways, he did a DJ set of his remixes of Rammstein songs. He always has so much energy in his performances, whether he's drumming or DJing.

Then Rammstein!!
They entered through the crowd, a procession of flags and cheers, then made their way to a platform in the center of the crowd, then walked across a bridge that was lowered to just a few feet over the heads of the crowd on the floor

My camera died about 3/4 of the way through the show though, so I missed some amazing shots, but that's quite alright.

Well, I think that's about it. I'm settling into panic attacks about this wedding...mostly the money aspect...and time....so now I need to get to sorting out some things and figure out where we're going to pull the money from. Any suggestions?

After I'm all healed up, I promise I'm going to try to work on shooting....just starting to think I need a new wardrobe, and some ideas
sometimes wardrobe is the idea, so help is welcomed

It's time for me to move onto a different Clive Barker series, since I finished the Abarat series that RemoD66 was so kind to give me. If you haven't read them, I highly suggest it.

XOXOX

I owe you a proper update full of Rammstein, tattoos and all that, but for now, I'm stuck using only my left hand.

You see, my right one is currently immobilized with the rest of my right arm and shoulder after I slipped and dislocated my shoulder last night after work. Since Corey is on his cruise, I was home alone, crying in pain. I was able to get a hold of my dad and he raced out here to take me to the ER. Everytime my arm moved I screamed so hard.
zoom image

I'm pretty banged up right now and feeling pretty horribly pathetic.

Better blog soon, I promise

Well hello there.

How are you? Is that so? +insert appropriate response to individual answers here+

It's finally beautiful and sunny here in Seattle, like 78 degrees for a week straight, kind of beautiful! It's great. So great that this sun avoider got out on Sunday to watch Corey and his coworkers play a pretty drunken game of kickball
zoom image

and hand washed my car on Saturday, which led to a pretty bad slip on the wet metal and some massive bruising
zoom image
zoom image
At least the bruises take my mind off of how itchy my thigh is smile
Speaking of my thigh, it's basically all peeled and done healing, so I'm going in today to make the appointment to finish it up, hopefully for this Friday.

let's see, what else is going on in the world of Cadavre? Not much, just been enjoying my days off, and dreading my nights at work, though I think the coworker that isn't on my good side will be soon leaving. That will be nice, but then there's the stress of hiring a new person and training them.

As much as I'm looking forward to Monday for this:
zoom image
I'm pretty bummed that Corey's family obligations are making him miss it (oh well, it was an xmas present to my dad, and I still get to go) and that Tuesday Corey heads out on Tuesday morning for a 4 day cruise with his only cousin and grandparents and I'll be all alone for that week....

Maybe I'll bug Bella to spend more time with me, since I'm having lunch with her tomorrow.
She is so much fun to be around and she and I may be planning something awesome.

My intentions with this site have been brought into question a bit and I feel I need to sit down and really spill everything.

Many of you have seen the frustration I've gone through over the last few years, fighting as a hopeful, the rejection of sets, the failing of others that actually made it into review. But I want to make this absolutely clear: I fucking love this site. This community means the world to me, and I need to branch into it a little more. My loyalties may have shifted for a brief, stupid moment, but that will never happen again. That was a moment of confusion and sheer frustration. I don't care if it takes me another 3 years to go pink, I'm going to work my ass off for this. It has NEVER been about the money, never been about the "fame", it's been about a 13 year old's dream of being a Suicidegirl, and now it's grown to be about proving to myself, to everyone who has supported me through it all, that it wasn't for nothing.

I'm going to try to go through a little make over, change a few things about myself I'm not too fond of and then find a way to get in front of the camera as many times as I can. Be ready for a whole new Cadavre!!! Now...just to work with some amazing photographers, any of you coming out to Seattle in the next few months?

Well, I guess I'll leave off with that and these

Holy shit it's time for something new.

I wonder how long this will take me to right, since I'm currently fighting a major headache and trying to keep Astrid away from my milk glass.

It's been a week of art...well...sort of art.

Astrid finally got his Creeper shirt back from Corey's grandma, along with some new pretty teal shirts, in a package addressed to him.....this family is crazy, but I love it. The creeper shirt is still a bit loose, so I'll have to have it taken in again but it suits him way too well
zoom image

He wasn't too happy to be put back in a shirt, so he got snuggled
zoom image

On Corey's last Monday off (they changed his schedule back to Mon-Fri and moved him out of the waiter bays and back to the real shop) he really wanted to finally go to the free wall next to his work and add his own touch to it
After 2.5 hours of cutting out the tiny details, I present you with our Hellraiser homage
zoom image
zoom image
zoom image
one of the heads was left untouched for a week, which is really surprising.

Instead of hitting the bar one night, we made dinner at home
I like wrapping meat in bacon....especially pepper bacon
zoom image
then invited one of Corey's long time friends over for dessert and drinks.
It was way more fun than going out, and we finally used our fireplace for the long time goal we've had for it:
SMORES!
And found out that darling Astrid really likes marshmallows, to the point where we left the bag unattended and closed up, only to come back and see it open and marshmallows on the floor with gnaw marks in them
zoom image
zoom image

Friday I also finally got to go in and begin something I've waited a very long time for, with a humbling amount of help from the very amazing Jimcurt99
I started the cover up of my blue garter with a bigger, better piece. But because the artist kept trying to push things into my very simple design that I had blatantly told him I didn't want, it took him a lot longer to redraw my simple design and then set up...my appointment was for 2:30, we didn't start putting the stencil on my leg until 4pm. I'll finish this piece with him, then choose a different artist.
zoom image
zoom image
We got the outline done in less than an hour and started the shading. I got charged for 2.5 hours, though it really didn't take that long, at least I only owe another $100 for the next session, no matter how long it takes. We had to stop at where the pictures show because I started bleeding a bit, and he had scheduled other appointments so close to mine. Oh well, I'll heal and go back in next week to finish. It's all starting to peel already which is nice.

Oh and apparently I'm ridiculous...but I think I'm just a smidgen awesome, I made Astrid something
zoom image
that's right, my cat now has a Cthulhu outfit to match mine. I still want the non-dress Cthulhu outfit for comfort, but that is not a priority expense.

Though, I was thinking about doing a made-to -order bake sale, where I would send larger (say a dozen) batches for a certain price. I've got some cookie recipes I want to try out, and some old favorites that a few of my dear friends on here can attest to being delicious.

Thoughts?

Well I'm going to curl up with a book and get rid of this headache

Blog time!

Nothing super exciting this time, just laid back.

I really can't think of anything better than a weekend (my weekends include Friday and Monday) filled with good weather, good friends and good food.

Friday I had a lovely day with Mel. We met up for tea at this lovely little tea house, where we shared high tea, which was a 4 course meal, and 3 pots of lovely peppermint tea.

Our first course was a creamy chicken soup with a homemade cheese scone
zoom image
Isn't Mel just a ray of sunshine?

Second course (and by then we were probably on our 5th cup of tea, with plenty of cream and sugar) was a garden salad with a sausage wrapped in the most buttery, fluffy pastry
zoom image

3rd course was fresh fruit and english sandwiches. I never would have put turkey with strawberry cream cheese, but my goodness it was amazing.

Our final course, and 3rd pot of tea was a tray of amazing desserts.
Oh how I love scones with lemon curd!!!
zoom image

It was so nice to just sit down and talk with Mel, outside of work, outside of our busy schedules. And it was such a beautiful day. After we were full of amazing tea and some of the best food I've had in a long time, we walked over to the bridal boutique. I had gotten a call a couple of weeks ago that my wedding dress had arrived (5 months earlier than expected), so we went over to see it. It was so much....MORE...than I could have ever dreamed. Yes, I had tried on the sample dress, but the moment I put this one on...MY dress...brand new, in perfect condition, it all became so real. The beads are all perfectly sewn on...and then Mel started tearing up. I owe about $650 more on the dress (including the alterations) and at least half of that has to be paid off by September...I can do this...I can save up for this....awww fuck...these things are expensive...and my ace in the hole for the cake dropped out..so that's even more money we need....SHIT SHIT SHIT.

Would anyone want to help me if I did a bake sale? Haha...worth a try. Also, still open to do clay pieces, or prints from sets that have either been taken down or are still up. Just PM me

Saturday was....a day I'd like to forget. One of the more....tricky...customers on our most common site went on a rampage saying my crew didn't do the right amount of work the previous night, so I had to go in and cool the fire. I spent 3.5 hours dealing with a very bitchy person, went home for a couple hours, then turned around and went right back to work, doing the exact same thing I'd done, plus our usual clean....what a hell night.

Sunday was again, a beautiful day, and we had been invited over to miss Bella's to enjoy good people, good food, and the nice weather....and good pot. For those of you who KNOW me, you know that it takes a lot for me to want to smoke, but I couldn't pass it up this time, just added to the relaxation. It was so fun to run through Trader Joe's with Bella grabbing supplies to cook up some amazing food. And Being as ridiculous as I am, I had shown up on her door step with a bouquet of red (the color named Alcatraz) gerbera daisies. I got the biggest hug....made me happy.

It also makes me super happy to get to really know this spectacular woman, and to know that she knows how hard I've worked for this site, and she's really pulling for me, getting my name out to the people it needs to go to. There are quite a few girls that I know are doing similar work for me, and it just....makes me feel so special and so humble. There are some truly amazing girls on here, and it's even more amazing to really know them and to know they have your back and want to help you.

We spent a couple hours cooking and soaking up the sun, but I guess we left right as everything was getting good...damn.

Yesterday we went back over, helped her move the couch back inside, helped her with some errands, got the best pho I've had in a long time and ran through thrift stores, picking out cute things, and gawking at hideous clothing.

I ended up working last night, sleeping til 11 today, bringing lunch to Corey and hiding inside, since the weather stopped being happy and is just grey.

I have to take my car back to Corey's work to figure out if there's a nail in my tire, since it's going pretty low.

I'm really working towards ideas for shoots, and I may have something special in the works this summer.

Right now I need to focus on making and saving money and not losing my mind. Care to help?
that wishlist thing

Looooove you guys

Epic blog of epic week of epicness

Well...at least it was all pretty epic to me. You're going to punch me for saying epic so many times by the end of this...I know you are.

So the dear Jimcurt99 arrived Wednesday afternoon while I was in the middle of baking up a batch of nutella mini cupcakes. We got him settled in and I started dinner while we waited for Corey to come home. Apparently my stuffed pork roast was a hit. If you know Jim, you know he doesn't eat much, but he cleaned his plate and went back for seconds!!! I had to work that night, so the guys hung out...smoked, and cleaned up the left overs....by eating them....

Thursday, we went to the hardware store to get supplies to build our epic project...a metal box to replicate the one at my work that everyone said I needed to shoot a set in. The box is ALMOST done, though Jimcurt99 is now on his way out of town. When it's all down I'll post photos, I promise.

Friday was the first day of ECCC and I picked up Corey, Doug and George from the shop, handed them their costumes (except George) and we headed off.

Jim and I spent all day Saturday at ECCC while we waited for Corey to get off work, and then all day Sunday we were all together

Saturday I was Cthulhu..and I fucking rocked it. I was carrying around the amazing gun Jim had made me also, but didn't get any pictures that I can steal with me carrying it. Jim carried one of his spiders and got stopped more than I did. He may have some potential buyers!!!
zoom image

Loved the set ups and costumes I saw wandering too
zoom image
zoom image
zoom image

Sunday we got to spend all day there. I was Tank girl and Corey was Steve from Minecraft. Doug ended up wearing the costume I made him all 3 days, instead of alternating with the one he had gotten separately..I guess I did good.
zoom image
zoom image
zoom image

Sunday, I also got to meet one of my favorite comic book authors, Jhonen Vasquez and got the book that RemoD66 gave me for xmas signed by him
zoom image

You may have also noticed that I redyed my hair. I've been growing out the sides too, but I'm suddenly really happy with the length the sides are. It's kind of an edgy but soft and cute...look, but with it all the same color and not half blue and half my natural, it looks so good!!
zoom image

Sunday at Con I got to meet Casshas, Tita, Rydell and Aadie. Because I was going to meet up with Toxic and her hubby [MEMBER-MetalMohawk] for Dick's burgers (we got to de-virginize Shaun and Jim with dick's), Tita gave me the extra party flyers and SG stickers to give to Toxic and to hand some out myself. They made me feel really involved with the whole Suicide Girls Take Over the Northwest party, even though I'm just a hopeful.

It was really nice to hang out with Toxic before the arty, even though we were all just hanging out in my living room. Then!!! Then we all went to the party. And the next few hours were a drunken blur of tits, ass, dancing and laughing. Apparently I made Cruella's night, by telling her I could give her a ride to where she needed to go after the party...since she humped my leg repeatedly

Party photos!

now back to my boring normal routine....yuck....

Love you guys!!!

Edit
I'M A HORRIBLE PERSON! In all of my excitement to share everything, I totally spaced on some more epicness!!

Thursday evening, we got to meet up and have dinner with the beautiful and sweet Blyde. We were going to try to meet up at ECCC, but there were so many people and so much to see...but it was so wonderful finally getting to meet her. Hopefully she and I can get together more often. I still want to set up a playdate with her puppy and Astrid

Friday after con, Jim spoiled the hell out of me (as he had been doing throughout his entire trip), but after we dropped everyone off at their cars, Corey, Jim and I went to the strip club right down the street from our apartment. We got chatted up by a dancer I had seen before (and adored because of her music taste and tattoos) and ended up getting SEVERAL dances from her. Turns out she's on this site as a hopeful also! I love meeting local girls!!! I love it even more when I get groped by them

Forgive me for spacing on that...

I guess it's time for an update

Don't have too much to say

That bruise from my last blog, it's finally fading, it's been there for weeks...still in the pattern of the pedal though.

St Patrick's day here kind of...sucked. I made cupcakes for Corey to take to work and for my parents and my coworkers
Behold the bailey's and green cake cupcakes
zoom image
And with a green beer
zoom image
So Corey worked that morning and I worked that night...and that was about it.

We're preparing for ECCC and we are VERY excited
I'm putting together my outfits and working on Corey's friend/coworker Doug's outfit. Corey's basically got his figured out and in the process of getting supplies for his, we got a little something for Astrid
zoom image
We call him our little Creeper, because of how he sits and stares at us, only his eyes and top of his head visible....fucking creepy, so behold the Creeper shirt. Corey's grandma will make it fit him a little better and get rid of the snap flap.
zoom image

More wedding shit going on. My stress over it has died and I'm just enjoying it. We're about to cross into the 7 month countdown. Got our Save the Dates today
zoom image

Went for a hell of a bike ride yesterday before work. Yes the weather finally held up for us. I think we went a minimum of 6 miles total. It's a beautiful trail we have right by us. A bunch of beautiful lake houses too. A girl can dream right? Well, that bike ride was right before work and it was incredible the amount of energy I had after the ride. I needed all of that energy too...my coworker isn't pulling his weight....but he's looking at another job and weaning off our schedule THANK CTHULHU! (Won't say thank God....since he's what Mel and I like to call a godwad....long story...too annoyed).

My legs are on fire but it feels great. If I keep this up, I'll have the toned thighs I want in no time!

Found out our complex has a 2 bedroom loft, I'd like the upgrade with the extra room, especially before the wedding, so that we can have a guestroom. And a room to store all the art supplies.

So much and so little going on.

Time to get to work on Doug's costume and clean for Jimcurt99
and avoid amazon...holy shit my wishlist is getting out of control.

XOXOXO

Well, time for an update I thinks.

As you may or may not know (and I think most of you know), tomorrow is Pi day! I stumbled upon an adorable recipe and decided Pi day would be the perfect opportunity to test it out. I present to you apple pie baked IN THE APPLE
with a caramel Pi symbol, obsviously
zoom image
zoom image

I made just over a dozen, some....fell apart, a couple extra for others, and 12 for Corey to take to work tomorrow.

If you want to try it yourself, here's the recipe
Apple Pie in the Apple

His coworkers are going to be so spoiled this week! Pies tomorrow, bailey's cupcakes for St Patrick's day on Saturday....

I've been trying to get out and ride the bike as much as possible, but because it's Washington and our weather is horribly unpredictable, it's been pretty limited. Sunday, Corey and I walked our bikes probably a mile and a half to the trail, rode for 5, and pushed our bikes another 2 miles, mostly uphill (the massive hill that I live on) to get home....my muscles ache, but it's wonderful, the bruising on the other hand...not so nice
zoom image

After a bit of a mix up with Corey's tax return, the check finally arrived in the mail and he bought our tickets to ECCC, and himself a new hobby
zoom image

Sadly, both of our tax returns have slowly been disappearing to bills (like good adults should), but we're trying to save some up for both our us to get tattoos and we need to save up for the wedding too....rawr. Wish I had awesome ways of making some extra money...oh well.

Speaking of ECCC I'm so excited for Jimcurt99 to visit!!!! We're going to work on a awesome project, and if you missed his blog about the INCREDIBLE gun he made me, go oggle! DO IT !And the after party on the 1st!! It's going to be so awesome

I'm really glad to see Silencia on the front page today!!!! I love that set so much!

Another person I'd really love to see on the front page (you know...besides myself someday....someday) would be Miss Toxic. I'm excited to see her at ECCC too....but back to her being on the front page!
Let's do it for her, okay?

Toxic Robots in Disguise
zoom image
Love her!!!

I've been frustratingly moody lately, so I'm fixing that with comfort food....
Raisins and rice (good substitute for oatmeal or cereal)
zoom image

and tonight
Lutefisk

cuddling into fluff with Astrid doesn't hurt

one of these days I'll post more interesting photos...and by more interesting I mean tits and ass....mine if you don't mind

My whole inner schedule is all messed up!

Work has been a stressful hell, having to cut my crew's and my own hours and trying to deal with bullshit from corporate.

With my hours being changed, it's actually worked out okay, since Corey's work hours have been changed too. He now works at the dealership Tuesday through Saturday and I work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. It's nice having a full 2 days off together. Hopefully we will get the time together we need, and accomplish some shit, like cleaning and wedding planning. I even took over a wall in my dining room to lay out the brochures from caterers and linen rentals to make decisions. We're down to 8 months!

Speaking of work, I got a lot of comments on the last picture of my last blog where I was in my work "uniform" in a metal box. People wanting me to shoot a set in that setting (maybe without the "uniform"). That is my overall goal, but because it is in such a sensitive area, I would get in some major trouble if anyone was to find out. I'm going to attempt to build that box, or find a junk yard that may have one of them....we'll see. I can't risk my job for what could be a hit or miss shoot. I do promise that I'm going to kick my ass into gear and try to shoot more though.

These 2 days off with Corey led me to break down and agree to something that I had been adamantly against for years. You see, when I was little, my dad tried to teach me to ride a bike without training wheels...but his "teaching" was more trickery and hadn't prepared me at all. I crashed and burned and gave up. In the past....10 years, many people have begged to teach me and I have refused....until now. I never had a true reason, I guess it was just because people kept forcing the subject. Corey had gotten his bike all tuned up and I agreed to learn, so we borrowed one and he took me to the trail by our apt yesterday.

zoom image

I feel like I picked it up pretty quickly and he even said he was impressed. I guess he figured I'd try, fall on my ass, give up and go home. Within 20 minutes I was leaving Corey behind, running after me. I'm pretty damn proud of myself. And yes, I'm expecting "Little Red Riding Hood" cracks based on that picture.

I really don't have anything exciting to tell you guys. I want to shoot...and the WA girls are plotting something for ECCC but that's really it.....I should get off my ass and go jogging, but I know work is going to be brutal tonight, so I'm taking it easy today...and Minecraft. I'm shooting with Mel tomorrow for her portfolio.

But if you come up with any set themes you want to see me in...send me a PM!! Or...you know...just send me a PM if you want to chat, I'm pretty good at answering them.

xoxo

Somedays...I know I'm in a good mood when I decide to dance in the shower and continue dancing as I wiggle into my undies and socks
zoom image

Astrid gets dragged into the dancing sometimes too...and he matched me in his little red shirt
zoom image

The amazing Sparaz who is often my night time text buddy while I'm running around at work, mopping walls with awful chemicals bought an ASSLOAD of things off of my Wishlist saying they are late birthday presents, including these awesome boots to replace the pair I had for years that finally ate shit and died.
zoom image
He's quite a nice guy. Added to my hair dye supply too, gotta keep the hair blue right?

With so many packages coming several days apart, I've gotten a lot of exercise, running up and down the 5 flights of stairs between the complex office and my apartment. I think I'm actually going to start jogging too, there's a beautiful trail around the lake and I have a lot of free time during the day. Need to tone up my thighs before I get the garter fixed.

Once I get the garter fixed too, I'll probably start cranking out the sets. I love my curves, I do, they just need to be tightened up a bit. Maybe I should stop playing minecraft and get off my ass.

The wedding plans are coming together, we're taking some photos to put on our save the dates and going to an open house at the venue we've already booked. We just need to get our rings and a caterer!

These are some of the most important people in my life, and they're fucking ridiculous
zoom image

I can't wait to introduce them (or re-introduce in some cases) to my amazing friends from SG that are coming into town for the wedding and other trips.

These are also the two that I turn to for advice ( and Jimcurt99 and RemoD66, and of course the great Suispud1) They listen to my rants and help me words things when I have to break down and cause a confrontation. You guys are awesome.

I may be SUCKING as a hopeful, but what keeps me coming back is the incredible friends I've made and continue to make.

Well.....that's about it. Time to get back to my house in minecraft.

This is what I do....where I shouldn't be doing stuff like this
