This weekend has just been all over the place emotionally for me.

I've been mopey, giggling like a little kid, and just full of rage at random intervals. I'm trying to stay positive today, since I woke up with a light spring breeze and the sound of rain washing in through the partially open window this morning, It was a lovely way to wake up, though I wish Corey had been there to enjoy it with me.

Friday, I worked 3 to 10 am at Michaels, then crashed in bed for a few hours. Corey came home early from work and surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of all kinds of purple flowers. We cuddled and watched Due Date before I had to head off to work. My GPS got me lost on the way to pick up Rainy for work, and I had noticed that someone had fucking hit my car in a parking lot...so..kind of full of rage. Got to work and the people we "clean up" after had made an absolute horrible mess, powered Sodium Hydroxide all over the damn floor, trash can over stuffed, and a set of keys missing. I guess since it was Friday, they were in a rush to get home...bastards. Didn't get home until about midnight, and Corey was all pissy with me because I wouldn't just lay down (I was doing my normal nightly crawling into bed routine, he was just grumpy because he was "tired"). I worked an 11 hour day.....fuck..

Saturday morning, we woke up and played with the little girl we watch once a month, and got ready to go horse back riding with her and the Job's Daughters group that Debbie (Corey's mom) is the secretary for. There were 16 of us, and 8 horses. There were...12.....10-14 year old girls, all of whom, sounded and looked alike...and were goddamn annoying! But Sam is only 7, and she and I chased chickens and all the animals on the farm.

We saw this horse...and I thought "shit, he's the biggest horse...we're going to be the pair that ends up with him"..sure enough, Corey and I ended up with "Little Chief" and he was the biggest, fidgedtiest horse in the bunch.








So we had a lot of fun...then I had to go to work Saturday night. Corey got to go to a concert (and took a long time, female friend of his, that I don't mind, but am now starting to associate with some very bad emotions. It just seems like every time he's gone to hand out with her, I've been in a bad mood, and he hasn't realized it....). I guess I missed out on a really good Between the Buried and Me, Job For A Cowboy, and Cephalic Carnage show. GODDAMNIT. I worked with Mel at least, but things kept going wrong for her during the day (she was shooting a friend who wants to join SG, and we didn't end up at work until 10:30 pm...which means we didn't get out til 3 am, and I didn't get home and in bed until 3:30. Corey also decided it was a GREAT idea to wake me up at 9 am on Sunday. Yes, it was for sexy time...but dear god, I was a grumpy bitch all day.

Mel and I decided we are going to shoot a set next Saturday, and it was really nice to vent to her about my frustrations with Corey (it takes less pressure off him, and she gets to vent about similar frustrations with her man to me, since we're both the same level of crazy). So this week, I'm going to work on being healthier, exercising a little more, and trying to feel good about myself for Saturday. I've also been talking to the very lovely Audrisa about shooting a darker themed set (go see JimCurt99's new portrait of her!), and I'm just talking to a bunch of people about set ideas. I'm trying hard to be positive, and all the amazing comments from

I bought myself the Cthulhu cell phone holder, and bought my mom a Red Blood Cell Giant Microbe for Mother's day (she's a phlebotomist).

I also have that "Keep The Change" program for my bank account, and I'm using my savings, and the money that goes into my savings because of that program as a tattoo fund. I think I'm going to start my sleeve with this

And follow that with the amazing work from NerdMachine. I'm hoping to get the star really soon, maybe this month. And Mel and I are talking about getting similar crow tattoos soon too.

Corey and I keep bugging the office at the loft apartments that we loved so much. We are really desperate to get our own place. Living with his parents has been nice, his mom cooks dinner, does the shopping and does our laundry, but we need our own space again. And I need my Astrid kitty back with me!

Well, I need to go take care of Bailey, take lemon bars (this week's cookie) to my parents, and to my trainer at work.
