As I said in an announcement yesterday, I was in a car accident. It was not my fault. I was just going to run some errands, and I've driven these roads many times and never even seen an accident there. I was turning in the intersection to go onto Truxel road. I was in the second lane over, turning and the car behind me turned wide, went into the 3rd lane over, quickly corrected and slammed into me, pushing me so hard that I went over the cement divider (in the picture) and ONTO the trunk of a car stopped at the light, off the trunk and into the front passenger panel of another car. There were 3 children in the back of the first car I went into. The car that hit me, sped away, I don't even know if they noticed. The first car I hit

My light FOLDED around the third car's corner, his damage was mirror image of mine, and I had a piece of his bumper lodged in mine.

Thankfully, no one was hurt. All I remember is panicking and looking down while airborne and seeing the front of my car headed towards the ground. It was raining and I was sobbing. The mother of the children and driver of the car hugged me, a witness called the police for me, Corey rushed from work to me and held me.

My car was driveable this morning, so I went to class. When I got home and had laid around resting (my side aches, head's pounding, and my ankle hurts from smashing the brakes), Corey walked in to tell me there is a large puddle of ATF (transmission fluid) under my car. So...I can't drive it....and I can't go to class...and I can't get it repaired until the appraisor comes tomorrow...I hope my professors will allow me to email all my work.

So that's what happened. I'm sore and emotionally fucked right now, but I'm gonna go to the gym..woohoo!
