so when we're not ducking for cover when nitrogen pumpers are trying to blow tubing out of the hole. we're making snowmen on the hood of the snubbers truck. silly sleeping lazy snubbers.. but it was funny so I took pix

Belive it or not I had a great day today. ^_^ but here's some pictures taken maybe 2 hours ago.




bout 35 joints of 2 3/8 in the hole. Nitrogen truck pressured up to 15 MPA wich is just over 2,000 PSI on it w/ nothing holding it down. Ends up their was a misscomunication between the nitrogen guy and the consultant. we had snubbers on hole but no one else eather had a radio or knew he was at such a high pressure. 35 joints is about 7 MPA so 15 is more than double that. driller was just about to lift up so snubber was on his controles just incase it moved and all at once it shot up into the derrick. snubber on the controls caught it right away wich was still about 10 meters of movment. kinda lets ya know how fast that stuff can move. [at 7 MPA it would have been a safe operation because it wouldn't have moved so fast]

Lucked out and got on for one last work hitch before spring breakup ^_^ hopfuly Edmonton's gunna have nice riding weather by the time I get back from up north.

well I got my day to do some TLC on the bike.. still needs a bit more but I cleaned my carbs and she's running great and not puking up fuel anymore.. very satisfying day.

Well I geuss I'm a little further north than the people who are riding already.. was - 18*C this morning and I'm sure my battery being exposed to -35*C this winter may have added to my battery troubles.. I'll get a new battery before I can hit the road this year I think.

I have my bike parked on the patio and we still have about a foot of snow. Tried boosting it with a little boost kit but it was still -13*C so I pushed it the 25 meters out to the parkinglot where I could hook up cables from my car. [what a sceene that was, me pushing the 650 lb bike through snow] It must have looked hard or somthing cause on of my neighbors came out and helped me push

took a little bit but she started. I know a little bit about bike mechanics. but I have tubes that come up on eather side of my air box on my '99 Vmax. I can only assume it has somthing to do with the vboost. eather way when I started her up one of the tubes started pumping gas. was dumping it while I was trying to get her started but once she was running it was steadily pumping gas out all over my bike.. haha so I carfuly took the booster cables off and pulled the tube out of it's clamp and clamped it shut. bike struggled a little more and it was somehow dumping onto my exaust from somwhere els.. I'm sure somthing was just froze and this wont be an issue when it warms up.. ^_^

was a little easier to get her back to my patio again now that she was running. still a huge struggle. all n all my only real goal today was to run my bike for a bit regardless what I would need to do.. mission accomplished..

Almost bike season.. so tomorrow I'm going and getting some linex or other black truck bed covering. Gunna do my tank and forks in linex and start getting the beast ready for the road again.

wow commission workers get pretty sad when you bring shit back. Silly people.. If they made you feel comfortable dealing with them you'd wanna go back n spend more money. Walked into the Sony store to bring those SA-1000 's back n got my MDR-V600 's.. cause they're louder with my setup.

k so the SA1000 's suck ass. thier great and if I were running them through somthing powerful like my amp or I dunno just about anything that's not my computer they'd be the shit I'm sure.. so I'm gunna take em back for the 7506.. it's like it takes more to power the bigger driver in them so they put out less.. really I dunno but the other ones were louder so that's what I'm gunna go with as soon as they open up today.
