It's a hard thing to go through. Really hard. I lost my dog a year ago and the only comforting words I can give you at this point, is that it gets better with time. You'll always remember, but it gets easier. My heart goes out to you.

i hope you are well. everytime i watch this it makes me so sad.

It is so sad to lose them, but our vastly different lifspans make it a virtual certainty. My princess just turned 10, she's a German Shepherd, and I see her whiskers turning grey, her eyes are getting fuzzy, and she is so much slower to move about. I know her end will come long before mine, and I will be crushed. I also know when that time comes, I'll remember this video and somehow I think it will make me feel better to know someone else knows what I am feeling. Even though you won't really know. I am sure that is no consolation to your pain, but thank you, it was a moving memorial, something that once witnessed, is never forgotten.
