I would tell you that you have nothing to be insecure about, but I suspect you've been told that before.

Your "Unlovable" painting is very nice. I really like the way the lines both draw the principals together and push them away from each other. The effect reminds me of a sculpture I saw somewhere (sadly, I cannot remember where).

Oddly, when my father taugh me and the sibs how to drive he spent almost the entire time pounding into our heads how often we had to check the oil. He still asks when the last time we checked our oil was.

I've come to the conclusion that most people, geeks or otherwise, are only lonely because they live in the wrong geographical area - you just need to be surrounded by more of your ilk (and ilk are very nice, especially when they've shed their winter coat).
