I can't believe it is already July... time just flies by.
I had an amazing realization this week about summer school. I can relax a little bit because I don't really have to worry about my grades! Of course I need to pass the classes and my ego would prefer to do well, but I already go to UCLA... who the fuck cares if I get an A or a C on a lower div class at SMC that I am only taking to move from Pre-Poli Sci to Poli Sci. Hopefully my lack of caring won't screw it up!
I love living right near the beach. I haven't been going as much as I would like, mostly because of a horrific sunburn that I got, but it is still nice knowing that it is a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk away. I'm even getting tanlines! Twilight has also proven to be a fabulous distraction from the beach and studies. I read Twilight in one day and then New Moon in one day and now I started reading Eclipse but have to have enough self control to put it down long enough to finish my homework for the week. Reading for pleasure was such a foreign concept during the school year!
