Gone but forgotten....

I moved three months ago and I have not had any time to stop by and see everyone. The move went well and my cats have adjusted well (they have an entire finished basement to themselves complete with selt scooping litter boxes, cat condo, several scratching posts and a large sliding door to look out).

Work's been meh - they're shutting down my office on Halloween... but the good news I get to work from home and that works well as I am sick of paying over $46 a pop to fill my tank (my car requires super it's not a stupid SUV).

what's up everyone? I hope your summer is going well (if you live in the Northern Hemisphere that is). Work is still work though last week was chaotic as a virus ran wild... glad my department wasn't required to work insane hours to fix it...

Sorry for the lack of a blog lately...

not much going on - got a nice long weekend (back in the office on Thursday).

This weather is sick up by me - been way too hot this time of year - good for tourism but bad for the environment.

so where to start....

Been working like crazy lately and I know by the end of this year I'll be in need of a new job. I don't mind really the company that owns us is complete crap and I want to stick it to them. Idiots don't know a thing about anything. Frustrating really.

The dating scene has really been well crap too... Had plenty of dates over the past 8-10 months but man the women I meet have been real pains in ass. They want something that doesn't exist... the perfect man. sorry ladies there are none. Plus being lied too also sucks.

well at least my apartment has shaped up nicely and the cats love it. Plenty of place for them to run around and sleep.

Wow this year is almost over... been a busy one for me.

Thankfully it's been a lot better than 2005.

Well for some great news I am going to see Ennio Morricone in concert in February. He's one of the best composers ever.
The woman situation has had it's ups and downs. More ups thankfully.
Work still annoys the piss out of me... the higher ups are beyond useless and treat the IT group like a bunch of nitwits.

Anyway an update on the cats. Thankfully I've been able to control my older one's behaviour. I've kept her seperate from the two boys while I am not home. She stays in my bedroom. She's been very happy.

I am back and I guess I am glad... I had to clean up my messy kitties when i got in. And work's insane. Spent 12 hours in NYC working on a project. I have photos from Chicago that I'll download this weekend. Thanks for the kind words while I was away. It's always great reading that when I get back.

Next week I have some a few things going on - besides working like mad on Wednesday and Thursday night. Tuesday is the Venom concert at Irving Plaza - if anyone is going let me know. I can't wait to see them.
