My friend's sister is like some kind of bizarre stupidity vortex. Wherever she goes, all nearby stupidity swirls in on her location only to be swallowed up into the greater moronic whole. I've never in my life met, nor even heard about, someone who attracts as many idiots as this girl.

Perhaps it's a meteorological phenomenon caused by the low-pressure system between her ears.

Had my team's quarterly performance meeting at work this week. It was the most positive meeting I've ever been involved with in my life. I actually asked my boss if he was on drugs, it was so out of character.

Also, it looks like the position I've been waiting for 3 years to be created is finally close to being a reality. Looks like I'll be able to make the move after the first of the year. Double word score.

I like gibberish songs. I don't mean songs that are complete and utter gibberish using weird sounds and non-words, but rather songs that have lyrics which are all normal English words, but yet the way the words are used don't make any kind of sense to any sane person. Examples incluse Nirvana's Smells like Teen Spirit, and Def Leppard's Armageddon it.

I just finished the hardest puzzle I've ever seen. It was a waste of far more time than is reasonable, but I refused to leave it unfinished. The sense of accomplishment from finishing it is far less satisfying than I had anticipated.

"Log out" is a good euphemism for pooping.

DC United play CD Guadalajaua in the semifinals of the CONCACAF Champions Cup tonight. I'll be there. I'd take pictures and post them, but nobody reads this thing anyway.

I've been met wirh a bit of a conundrum recently. As a rule, I hate all network TV prime time programming, but now that Scrubs is on Comedy Central, I've kind of fallen in love with the show; so much so that I've bought all the DVDs and downloaded every episode not yet on DVD. It will no doubt jump the shark and start to suck now that I care about it, (edit - mere minutes after typing this, I downloaded and watched last night's episode. It was a flashback episode. They've officially run out of ideas.) but c'est la vie.

I still refuse to watch it when it's on NBC. Old habits are hard to break.

Nothing new this month. I'm still as boring as ever, I promise.

Roommates are out of town, and I'm taking care of their diabetic dog. I feel so ridiculous giving this thing 2 shots every day.

I also find it odd that the insulin is clearly labeled as "human insulin," even though I'm shooting it into a dog. I guess insulin is insulin...
