It's been a while since I've posted. It's been crazy hectic. Mostly enjoyable. 2013 has already had its ups and downs. More ups, so I'm pleased. I'm pretty happy the Mayans were wrong. Let's keep this year going in the right direction.

Well, I am ready for August to roll around. Hawaii's first ever tattoo convention is coming up in August. So excited!

I was talking to a friend about a mutual tattoo artist friend. She suggested I email him about it. So, I did. A couple days later he replied letting me know that the link I sent him was just what he needed. He will be flying out here for the convention with three other tattoo artists. Not only am I excited to have visitors. They happen to be tattoo artists.

Tattoo convention is three days, they're staying for 10. Between the convention and doing touristy shit. There will be quite a bit of work done.

I can't fucking wait for August.

Holy shit it's already June.

Well, this week I bought a new camera. I'm hoping to do a set sometime in the near future. I'm just trying to learn some decent poses. So, I'm polling all my female friends one what they like to see in men.

It's going to happen.

Let me start this off by saying, I"m drunk.

I should be. I went to a birthday/welcome home party.

I should provide some background.... There is a girl at the dog park. Super friendly, probably more good looking than she realizes. I see her there, mostly on Fridays. I consider us dog park friends. Well, her boyfriend just got back from his deployment this week. Her birthday was last week. So, they decided to have a joint party. I was invited and one of the first to arrive. Not knowing anyone, this was awkward. But, I survived.

Step forward...

People show up. I'm finally drunk enough to have conversations with everyone. Things are going pretty well. I think I even made a friend. Whoa!

Let's go a little further...

I am talking to the "birthday girl" and another guy. We're talking about my tattoos and high school of all things... Meanwhile, I see her boyfriend give me the eye. Not sure to make of it, I, in my drunken state say something. He mumbles something under his breath. The birthday girl goes to talk to him. The guy that was involved in the conversation with us tells me, "Don't worry, whatever happens, I got your back, you didn't do anything wrong." Whoa, got my back? What the fuck did I miss?

Not knowing to make of any of this, I approach the boyfriend and say,

"Hey man, what's the deal, are we cool?"
"No, we're not. You need to watch your back."
"Watch my back? What do you mean? If I did anything just let me know."
"What, you don't know what you did? You just better watch your back."
"No, I don't know what I did. If it means that much I can just leave."
"You just better watch your back."
"Okay, I got the hint, I'm going home."

And that's where I'm at. Blogging about my night here, because I don't really feel like talking about it on Facebook.

There is so much I want to say, but I'm not quite sure what it is yet... Fuck.

Friday, thank you for finally getting here. I'm glad the hardest decision I'm going to have to make this weekend is whether or not to go see Morrissey.

I think I should.

This morning I wore some new boxer briefs... Before I put them on, I decided they were a lucky pair.

During work I got a phone call from a number I didn't recognize. I answered it. Turns out my contacts arrived early, and I was able to go in today to try them out.

While this may not sound that exciting, it was for me. I've never worn contacts before today. Not quite sure how I feel about them yet, but I'm sure I'll get used to them.

I can't wait to go snorkeling now.

It's the small victories.
