Well one more week to go for the ball, can you believe it? it always seemed so far away and now it's just around the corner! woo! got some more stuff for the costume today, and gonna spend a fair bit of time after work in the workshop making some cool accesories hopefully, steampunk! I can't wait to see everyone else. For those still needing some stuff for costumes there is a shop in indooropilly shopping centre sells hats and whatnot for real cheap! it's called craftworks i think, can't really remember. . . it's near the food court anyways.
Well I'm off to the Surgeon tomorrow morning wish me luck!
I was lucky enough to find a good right hook to the chin the other morning in town, broke my jaw quite well I must admit. Here's an xray for ya's all to check out, I love xrays seeing yourself from the inside. The crack didn't show up too well on the scan, so I drew where it is with a yellow line. It's only holding on by about a couple of millimetres.

A stroke for Fathers day. . . .
Today I recieved a phone call from my brother that he was picking me up and going to our sisters place. I could hear in his voice that something wasn't quite right. 'What's happened?" I asked him, "Dad's colapsed" Now this wasn't really a shock to any of us, sadly we could see this coming, but like a bad dream it all unveils infront of you and you feel helpless. On the way my brother was able to catch me up with other news that my Mum, Sis and her son were in a crash last night that wrote off the car, a fucked off drugs driver smashed into the rear of them and took off, only to come back shortly after and make strange gestures and remarks to my mum, like falling on the road, so my mum goes to help him and he starts to giggle and say "mm. . . you smell lovely" and then start swinging around a pole, meanwhile he has two shell shocked kids in the back of his car, and my sis and her son are still stuck in thier car due to the doors jamming from the chassis being bent. My sister was on the phone to the police and do you think they showed up? have a guess. . . .
So the next morning (this morning) my Mum is trying to sort out insurance info and whatnot as well as trying get in touch with the fucking pigs on why they can't do their FUCKING JOB!!!!!! when my dad has a stroke. . .
Brilliant.
So now we arrive at the hospital to see him, I've never seen or could imagine my Dad to look this way. A man I look up to as my teacher, a mentor and figure of high regard. He's there naked with a sheet barely covering him, pale as death itself, no movement or feeling down his whole left side of his body, head jared to the side, loss of bladder control. But the worst thing to see on your father lying infront of you is in his eyes, the look of fear, absolute solemb fear, nothing, it was if a mere dog was lying in front of me. The vommiting started and more loss of bowels and bladder, trying to move around panicing though 'cause he can't move the rest of himself, he doesn't know what's going on, he's getting fustrated and confused like a restrained animal trying to break free. His pulse meter has now fallen off his finger causing beeping sounds from the monitor which is exasperating the whole situation for himself, he struggles more, and the look, that look in his eyes grows worse.
The doctor now comes in, he say's that the catscan showed there was hemmoirage in the brain, so he's going to have to be relocated to another hospital that have a better set up fot neurological issues. So looks like he's gonna have to have it drained out and some of his brain cut out to get to it, it's leaking into the liquid part of the brain.
So to every one reading this now, cherrish the times with your Dads, maybe it's time to give that phone a good work out if it's been a while.
