Off to Australia for 3 weeks this weekend, more specifacally Melbourne, should be amazing. Basically my girlfriend moved back there a couple of months ago so this is the first time I've seen her (besides on skype) since she left. Soo looking forward to it. Would be nice not to have to come back to the UK but needs must.
See you on the other side SGland.

So its one week down and one more to go of my two weeks off inbetween leaving my old job and starting my new one. I'd like to say its been eventful but its been more just relaxing and trying not to feel guilty for it.
The week started with the death of Marco Simoncelli the MotoGP rider. I'm not sure why but this really put me on a downer. I'm not a massive fan of MotoGP but I try to catch races when I can and I know who most of the big names in the spart are. I can't put my finger on why I felt so bad about this besides the fact his death was so tragic. Maybe it was partly because he lived the kind of life I would love to, he was the kind of person everyone loved, a genuine nice guy. Only 24 years old and at the beginning of an amazing career. Such a shame,
RIP Marco.
What else, I'[ve had to do some clothes shopping for my neew job. Even though its in a lab they still want me to dress business casual, I own jeans and t-shirts, not business casual so I've gotta go buy some which sucks ass. Can I find trousers that aren't fucking skinny fit, NO. I'm too old to be wearing that stuff. I just want a some cool trousers for work. I haven't even got a clue what to wear on the top half, checked shirts??
I managed to catch up with SG friend for a movie night, watched Doghouse, indie zombie brit flick, quite funny.
Caught up with some old work chums for lunch today which was nice, I think they would all love to leave but you can get stuck working for the government as its pretty easy going and handy if you have a family.
Thats it for now, nothing to exciting. The weekend will hopefully be fun filled, but no Halloween plans yet so I can't see me dressing up.

ME vs Jahovas witness
1 - 0 to me, I win. That'll teach them to come to my door on a Saturday morning.
They have no respect coming round here bothering me, you don't see me knocking on peoples doors preaching evolution to them.
Went down to brighton yesterday to see my tattooist to see if my tattoo was finished or not, its all out of my hands really. I see him as the artist and me as the canvas. He wants to blacken the black and improve the shading to enhance tohe look of it and give it more depth, I'm cool with that.
Not much else going on besides that, hanging out and working. Caught up with my new SG friend during the week for a chat.
Today is going to involve a bit of mini golf, a picnic and then out for drinks for a friends birthday. We had to organise this for hima as he wouldn't make a dicission on what to do so if left to him he would have done nothing. He needs a slap for sure.
Also last weekend I had sex with an ex, is this right or wrong? I wanted it because I'm a bloke and this is what we want, not sure her feeling on the matter really but she seemed to enjoy it

Just spent the weekend in Spain for a friends wedding, it was a very messy drunken weekend. Got there Friday night, checked in to our hostal and chilled out then went to meet everyone who came from England in this bar on the beach, Basically to meet each other and drink. Which we did until about 3 or 4, who knows!
The wedding was on the Saturday and it was so different from English weddings, for a start it didn't get going until about half 6 in the evening. There was no best man, no bridesmaids. Just my mate and his wife at the front. I have to say at this point the wedding was at an old convent on a cliff top, the ceremony was outside with awesome views of the sea. It was used for some scenes in that Perfume killer film a few years ago. Anyway. So about half 7 we start drinking and eating tappas (free bar - always a plus) The waiters just kept bringing more and more food out. I tried Octopus for the first time. Chewing on a sucker - nice.
Around 10 pm we were called in to actually start the meal!! So this went on until midnight interupted only by the bride and groom running round the tables while we waved out knapkins in the air. Very odd.
So at midnight the party really kicked off with all sorts of drinking going on and the handing out of fancy dress parafinalia. Mohitos, cuba libre's, the biggest G & T 's ever and much more. I think it finished at 5am which was luch as it gave us time to get back to the room, pack our stuff, check out and go catch the 7:30 bus to the airport to catch our flight home.
How I made the bus I'll never know. I must thank my mates. I don't remember leaving the wedding, I sort of remember being in the room then checking out, next thing I know I'm sat on the bus needing to vom - not nice!
So no sleep from Saturday moring until Sunday night, thats how I like my weddings.
There is no way any of the rest of my friends can afford a wedding anywhere near as cool as that......ever.

I've finally got my first tattoo and I love it! Its by Nige ant Nine Tattoo in Brighton, he's an awesome artist if a little random. Quite a random experience, we started off with a concept but initial drawing or sketches were produced, Nige drew on what we had discussed and off he went filling in the extra detail as he thought it was needed.
So basically neither of us knew what I was gonna get until it was finished. It does have a bit of a hidden meaning which is not obvious but a theme I've loved for a few years now.
Here are a couple of pics of it at 1 day old.

So tomorrow is the big day, I get my first tattoo done and I have no idea what it's gonna look like. I've been to see the artist talked through what I want but I'm not gonna know what I'm getting until I get there. I'm pretty nervous but its something I've wanted for years and if I put it off any longer its never gonna happen.
It's taking 2 seesions which I'm having over 2 consecutive days. I feel like I need to take some pictures of my arm so I have images of what it looked like before the tattoo. Is that normal or just me?
I'll try to get some pics up on Friday or as soon as possible after.
Shit, arse, balls I hope it turns out amazing
