Something horribly wonderful has happened... I have become addicted to The Walking Dead graphic novels! I have been reading them nonstop for the past week, whenever I have spare time. And now Stevie_D has rediscovered the Authority comics!! Between the two of us and our comic addictions, we're never going to get anything done, EVER AGAIN!!! You'll probably see us on an episode of horders... No, no, we;re not the horders!! We'll be under like a thousand empty apple juice containers, reading quietly, unaware of our surroundings.....

I just picked up #1 of The Walking Dead myself, along with the first volume of Neil Gaiman's Sandman. They're both in my queue of stuff to read.

reading, unaware of one's surroundings... that is a good way to be, and how I get when I am reading something I like. I've had my wife tell me things - and I've even answered simply (yes, uh-huh, no) - and had NO IDEA what had happened even 10 minutes later.

I concur with el_diablo_blanco, Sandman is worth a deep study as well.

Sandman.... Walking Dead... and The Authority, welcome to my dark and geeky world.... might I also recommend Locke & Key (by Joe HIll the genetic offspring of Stephen King) and Planetary (ties in nicely with Authority, created by the same writer)

i had the first 2 issues of walking dead bought them when they came out sold them last yr for 300
i have the authority signed by grant morrison he was drinking whiskey or something
