Wow. I haven't been on in a while. My job has kind of taken over my life. As well as trying to spend as much time as possible with my best friend before he leaves for college this summer. only 5 more days and he's gone Luckily... it's only 5 hours away and at a prime snowboarding location. so this winter won't be so bad.. probably go snowboarding at least once a month if I have m say in the matter lol. the rest of the summer however.... will probably be quite lonely.

Bought myself a new book yesterday. Malibu Cheesecake The Pinup Art of Olivia. beautiful work. makes me wish I could model for her. gorgeous stuff.

Speaking of... I will be doing another shoot here soon. trying to make time for that after my friend leaves. it's a little awkward trying to explain to someone that you can't see them before they move away because you're standing around naked in front of a camera. He knows it's what I do but still lol

So life has been pretty busy for me. Working and planning for the zombie prom in May and my brothers wedding in July! This is a first for me. I have been in weddings.. I was a flower girl and a brides maid before but I have been asked to be the maid of honour! So that is exciting.

My husband got me a new car for our anniversary/my birthday. It's a great little car. So excited. I actually have a way to get around and hopefully be able to go see The Devil's Carnival! whoo working car!

I'm still on the lookout for a new photographer. Thinking of just setting up my tripod and using my remote and shooting myself. I did a decent job on some pictures I just took. This is one of them.



So yeah.. that may be the route I end up taking lol.

Been reading the Hunger Games books. Almost done with Catching Fire and it's pretty awesome. Kind of annoyed with Katnis and her wishy washy love triangle crap buuuut.... other than that I really enjoy the story and the idea. of course.... anything even REMOTELY post apocalyptic I tend to love.

Anyway... time for me to shower and get ready for work. Have a meeting today and I really hate them... sit there and listen to the SAME thing EVERY week. At least I don't work with a certain someone who doesn't know how to freakin shower... I swear I am going to febreeze him next time I work with him. yes.. that is really mean but it's nasty. Customers comment on it... it's that bad...

Mass Effect midnight release tonight! Guess who gets to work it! This girl!!! yeah so not so much on the excite side about it. since I will be at work from 2pm until well after midnight. I do get like an hour from 9 to 10 but there's no point to leave other than to grab food and come back because by 9:30 (or earlier even) people will start lining up at the door.

In other news.. I'm totally excited for The Devil's Carnival. Just found out they're doing a road show and I may be able to go! Going to look more into that.

getting a new tattoo tomorrow! makes me excited. also... it's free. so yay! well.. ok so it's trade but whatever. my husband fixed his computer.. I get a tattoo.. it all works out and I have to spend nothing out of pocket ^_^

Haven't been on lately. Haven't been doing much of anything lately. Too much drama and bullshit going on at work. Having to work on a back up system, not being able to run credit cards and not being able to look up my valued customers really makes me dread going to work... and I love my job it's no ones fault. The modem died and we need a new one... that has to be custom built... system went down Saturday.. won't be fixed until probably Thursday... totally sucks.

In other news... it's snowing hard core today. Perfect day for SSX to be released really since it kinda revolves around snow >_>...... If I wasn't working all day I would totally go out for a shoot in the snow...

I might bribe my friend into shooting some stuff with me on Friday if I can get up early enough before he heads to work. Depends on if I stay up all night playing Kingdoms of Amalur or not lol. Which speaking of... that is a great game. Better than I expected for sure and I'm not sorry in the least I bought it brand new for full price. Lol

I am actually sitting at work right now typing this up. It is that dead today. Whoo for snow storms. Makes people stay home. Really hoping that our midnight release next week for Mass Effect 3 has a good turnout. I hate having to be here for hours and not having a good turnout. Makes me feel like 'why did we bother?' Since it's a 'shooter' we might set up the airsoft guns again. That'd be fun.

AH! It's been so busy lately with a whole lot of nothing!

Finally found a piece to a costume I have been looking for for almost a month! So yay I can shoot another set for Cosplay Deviants as soon as I get my hair cut! .... and find a new photographer. No offence to the guy but he creeps me out and he isn't very good.... I mean seriously... look at my set in member review and tell me that's good photography work... my friend Shawn does better than that and he knows nothing about cameras. ok so now I sound like a total bitch but I was really disappointed in my DS Days set.. as well as the Christmas set we shot together for Cosplay Deviants.



inside shoots are hard anyway but I don't like being told something looks amazing and then seeing it and it's really not. HOWEVER! We did an outside black and white shoot for CD as well (still hasn't been posted >_<) and aside from him not having the proper editing tools (and he refuses to let me do any editing) it turned out alright (well.. better than the others. I look super washed out but the character is Death so... it works I guess).

feel like super bitch now. but as a photographer and editor myself it really sucks.. especially when yeah ok he may have 15 years experience in shooting with film cameras but if you don't know how to edit digital photos let someone either show you or do it themselves.. especially if you're expecting to be paid for it...

god.. now I feel like a bitch... now onto looking through cupcake recipes..

Been a busy couple of weeks between work and well.. more work lol. Haven't had much time at all to be on here. But I want to thank everyone for the lovely comments and the love from everyone on my set. <3

Waiting for payday so I can pick up Kingdoms of Amalur. Such an awesome looking game. Sadly, when I went to try it out at my friends house I fell asleep on the couch but it looks (from the like 15 minutes I experienced) very Champions of Norath. Bonus points if ANYONE knows that game. I feel like I'm the only one anymore lol. I work at Game Stop and no one other than my manager knows what Champions is and that makes me sad lol

Kind of excited for my meetings this week. I got picked to talk up Lollipop Chainsaw and yeah, that's something I'm totally excited for!

I realize the more I write on here... the more it'll probably be about games and gaming... the curses of working at Game Stop full time ^_^ I'm not complaining lol

So my set is up in member review. That's exciting! The only good thing to happen today actually. Thank you everyone for all the love!

So the EA show was awesome. Got pegged by random cupcakes that were thrown at the audience. that was awesome. I was so terrified when we woke up the next day and there were like 4 inches of snow on the car and it was still coming down. luckily it wasn't terribly cold and the roads were mostly just wet. so yay it was relatively safe. luckily it warmed up and the sun came out. the snow melted and things were great!

A lot of tension from my friends mom who kept calling him but after hitting Dave and Busters and playing some violent arcade games and having an awesome lunch things got much better. Had the best salmon I have ever gotten at a restaurant. was amazing.

The drive was uneventful but I drove home and got to torment the guys with singing Repo! the Genetic Opera and Sweeney Todd ^_^ it's really awkward feeling when singing a father/daughter song with your best friend though...

Today.. today has been a good day. The keys at work screwed up the locks but that was fixed today. Had a terrible interview with my DM yesterday but got the final verdict today and I am officially the ASM! (after doing the job for like 3 months)

so all in all things are coming together really well. it's pretty awesome... Just wish my modeling/photography would start doing as well lol but you can't have everything ^_^ I'm hoping to have another shoot within the next week but we shall see how that works out.

Tomorrow morning I leave for the weekend (well.. my weekend being thursday and friday lol) for Denver! Goin with my hubby and a friend to see Emilie Autumn! Yeah, maybe not so much going for them and more for me but oh well. I'm excited. Hopefully we can find a tattoo place and I can finally get a new tattoo.

In other news... my set goes up for review early next month! so I'm really excited.

Been sick the last 2 days. Luckily it's just a sinus infection today. Yesterday.. had a cyst on my ovary... that was a barrel of fun let me tell ya. My boss sent me home from work. was terrible. one of my co-workers (and best friend lol) felt helpless and had no idea what was going on. Feel kinda bad for him. Haven't seen him since well I was death warmed over >_<

But! it's over with and hopefully this whole sinus thing will be over with by next week. Thursday said friend, my hubby and I are going to a concert and I will be very put out if my nose is still all stuffy and runny and gross lol.

there may even be new tattoos on this trip ^_^ So excited!
