God, done with another hour long whackfest thanks to Grrlhavoc.

Don't worry, I ALWAYS wash my hands.

Anyway, I think I would like a mini-adventure today. I'm off to a cafe on Valencia street to finish the last few chapters of Michelle Tea's Valencia. Yes, this is mildly corny. On the other hand, I feel so lucky to actually live in the city she talks about in her story, and half the places she hangs out at in the story are places that I hang out at too!

The more I read, the more I find that we are very much like, not only in style, but personality. I found out that I was wrong and she's not reading next week, she's reading in April! Bah.

And I am trying to recruit Erika Lopez for my school's LGBT club...we need a speaker and I think Erika Lopez would be perfect. If I don't do this, i'm sure somebody will pick some boring lame old man that used to be gay in 1923 or something to speak. I think Erika would do this if we could give her money to speak. It helps to have connections sometimes. She is the first person I will go to when I complete a book. Actually, I have one book finished already, called "Lipstick Anarchy" but i'm too afraid to put it out there. It's 140 pages of poetry I wrote when I was coming out, it took me a year to write it.

Anyway, off for adventure, and then, i'll talk to the higher-ups about recruiting Erika...

That's ok......corny gives you character. When I lived in NYC I would frequent a bar that Charles Bukowski used to write about. O. Henry wrote the Gift of the Magi at the same bar.
