So I was walking down the street and saw a woman raise her voice to her baby. The baby was in its carriage, softly giggling, to which the woman yelled "TONE DOWN! YOU ARE BEING A LITTLE SHIT!!!" She hurled something into the carriage and screamed at it. The baby drooled on itself and looked sad.
I glared at her. And conservatives say WE are harmful to family values? The woman looked back as if she had nothing to apologize for.
I walked on, with Italo Calvino's "Invisible Cities" in hand thinking about the way some mothers can be so irresponsible and how humanity makes me sick sometimes. How animals are better people than humans. Suddenly I felt a movement and the sharp, piercing pain of several spikes digging into the right part of my scalp.
A CROW WAS ATTACKING ME!!!
The beast circled back and attempted to get at me again, so I covered my head with the book and ran. Apparenty it had babies in the tree and decided to defend them.
Looks like my theory was right, but ow!
God, only I get birds attacking my head when I try to go out for a leisurely stroll. Maybe the bird thought my hair was a predator.
- "Grr!!! I will eat your babies!!!"
