I have just learned of the controversy toward the set that Nana put up on the site. I'm embarrassed to say that I posted a comment that could be construed as condoning the set for its theme.

First of all, I saw the set for her beauty and not for the theme. After hearing from one of the people I consider a very good friend, I took a step back and really thought about what the set was all about. I realized then that the message it sent WAS really disgusting and I wish to apologize to anyone I may have offended in posting what could be considered a comment condoning the theme of the set.

I have learned that it is important to be a little more careful and really consider what you girls are trying to portray in your sets whenever you post them before commenting on them.

This whole thing damn near cost me someone I admire and care a great deal about!!

I took my daughter to see the movie "Across The Universe" and I must admit I hate musicals but this movie was absolutely awesome! If you've seen it, then you already know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, do yourself a favor and go see it. It is one of the best and most heartwarming movies I've seen in awhile. Not to mention the fact that the soundtrack includes some of the best music from The Beatles. This was a group that I grew up with and a group that will forever live on in history as one of the greatest bands of all time. Bar none! It also featured one of my all time favorite tunes..."Hey Jude".

Hi everyone...I haven't been spending a lot of time on the site lately and haven't commented on your blogs as much as I have in the past but...that in no way means I don't appreciate all of you!

I am grateful to have each and every one of you among my friends list. You are ALL important to me and I really enjoy following each of you. It's just that time seems to be slim at the moment so if I don't comment as much as I have in the past please don't feel like I'm neglecting you or that I don't care. I do!

I'll pop in when I can and comment when I do. I love you all!!

Today marks the anniversary of the most deadly act of terrorism ever committed on U.S. soil. So many lives were effected by this senseless act of bloodshed. The innocent people who died that day and the families they left behind should be honored and remembered always. My thoughts and prayers are with them today.

Good old George W...we can all thank him for the Fair Trade Act. Not only did he allow all of the major corporations to take jobs away from American workers, he has opened up the country to shit made in countries like China.

Seems like every time I turn on the news I hear about another recall of toys made in China. What the fuck! How many recalls will it take in order to put an embargo on the shit coming into this country that can harm our kids??!!

Don't get me wrong...I've got nothing against the chinese people. Christ, they work for next to nothing. It's the people who run the companies there that are responsible. I say if they can't get it right then we need to get out of Dodge.
