I work 7 days a week just to stay broke, my heads barely above water, I work so hard and I feel like I've got nothing to show for me.

I have dreams.

- drive to Alaska
- own my very own bar.
- walk acrossed PA (Pitt to Philly)
- Bike acrossed 'Merica!
- help someonebody do something they've always wanted to do.
- make my mother proud.

I feel like we're a bunch of people just sitting around waiting to die instead of living the lives we're supposed to.

I need to go on an adventure.

This spring I am considering subletting my room for 2 months and just hitting the road.

My friend Heather told me you can get a $500 pass from Greyhound and that'd good for like a few months or something and you can go to all 50 states including Canada and Mexico!! That's rad!!!

I just need a change of scenery. I'm tired of the same shit, day in and day out. Don't get me wrong, I love the Steel City, but I just have too many things I need to see.

I've NEVER been out west, I've NEVER been to Europe, or Asia, or South America.....I've been to 15 states, Canada, Mexico, and all over the Carribean....but most of those where when I was on vacation and didn't really get to put my nose in it and experience those places on my own.

So I think I might just hit the road for a bit Megabus style.

Philly, New York, Boston, Toronto.....Anybody out there that can put me up for a day or two?

Here in the US we are such a culture of "working for the weekend".

I ref'd 2 roller derby bouts, had great meals, saw Dark Knight Rises, met local Pittsburgh legend Rick Sebak at a fish market, and made sweet, sweet love to my ladyfriend.

I need to find a way that I can do this for a living, someone pleae pay me to do awesome shit all the time haha.

I'm so tired. Going to 80's night tonight at Belvedere's in Pittsburgh.

anyone else ever feel this way? that you just work like a slave for 5 or 6 days then you spend one night having a great time and drinking your face off then you have to spend the whole next day recovering.

woke up, didn't shower. fuck that. i'm stinky,

went to work at the bakery, had to make 2 platters then deal with shitty people while doing things like scoop portions of cookies

ate a lot of random shit because at my job we don't get a lunch break or a place to sit down. bullshit right?

I then joined my friends at a place called the Tennyson Lodge, which is the funniest strip club ever. It has a very low drop ceiling so the area where the pole is, is scarred with scratches from giant stripper heels.

nearly all the strippers had busted ass teeth.

they were all very nice girls though and it's owned by a 90 year old woman who is adorable.

I had to wear a suit yesterday.

I enjoyed the insane uncomfortable forced social interaction that is a "job fair". It's a kind of mash up of chinese buffet and speed dating. My mouth went dry, my legs wouldn't work, I spoke way too fast, and I'm pretty sure no one is going to hire me.

So back to the bakery to get yelled at by rich people because we're out of the bread they like, jesus christ.

Although, an upside of yesterday is that I got to have Indian food for lunch and wings for dinner...didn't eat one vegetable. Mission accomplished.

sometimes I have these episodes that I call "out of body experiences". someone please tell me that they've experienced this before. i get a strange feeling that i'm outside of myself, that somehow what's going on around me isn't real, that i'm somebody else. sometimes it almost feels like, when I wake up in the morning, it will be someone else's face in my mirror.
