This made me smile smile

This is some type of competition where the broadway performers do a parady of their show with another. The is a mash up of two of my favorite shows. Les Miserables and In the Heights.

In other news I have 3 things I'm looking foward this month. Those make me smile too.

i've actually been to elmhurst a few times, i love pho bam and the bubble tea place across the street (i think it's called galaxy or something like that). it's a little further out of my way and a little longer of a commute, but i love the neighbourhood and it's asian market so.

and i'll try to make it!! i can't make any promises though.

I wish I could shoot film, but no longer have access to darkroom facilities. I am now digital by default (although let's face it, it's less labour-intensive). I shot film with a Nikon which was cheap and therefore 'rubbish' but I do shoot digital with a Canon. I would love to use Minolta but I've never gotten my hands on one. Olympus are nice as well. What's your reasoning behind your usage?

Darkrooms are a true labour of love, but it was a privilege to have access. Although mastering that craft takes a lifetime and it isn't really good for you to be exposed to all those chemicals.
Was the birth of your son inspirtation ('cause of his cuteness) or was that just around the time you became more interested in all things involving the click of a shutter?
I have an accent cause all these years of language learning has made my ears very sensitive and my American accent was obliterated by Aussie twang and slang. whatever I also can't say things like 'candy' cause the children at school will laugh at my foreign-ness.
i do hope to pick up some tips from the photo group, but I hope they aren't too pretentious in there. puke

What a great baby picture! love

Well my given name begins with an 'H' so I was looking for a Japanese name that began with that sound. Generally, 'Hinata' means 'a sunny spot/place' so I thought that was pleasant. I didn't want anything like 'lingering moon' or 'peach child', just something simple. And I've actually never seen that animation, but maybe I should. surreal

I believe we are about 14 hours ahead of NY time at the moment. It's morning, yep.
Your son is in school, yeah? Do they learn foreign languages in primary school in NY?

Sounds like an alright gig, working in a uni. Lots of perks? I'll be doing lesson plans til I'm old and grey now, they're just giving me a taste of the work I'm in for.

Yay! You're my first friend! biggrin
