And another week begins...I'll probably end up spending a lot of time in the sun this week, like I was 2 weeks ago. Good thing I bought a ton of sunblock the last time. My fair complexion does not do well in the sun. People always ask me why I always wear jeans, even when it's hot as hell out. Simple, I'd rather wear jeans in the heat and be a little uncomfortable for a few hours than get sunburn all over my legs and be very uncomfortable for a week.
Today I'm going to my friend's son's 1st birthday party barbeque. I love this kid...he's so much fun to play with. And he's huge. One-year-olds should not be as big as this kid is. I was at my friend's house last night cooking for today's BBQ. I guess I'll have to suspend my diet for today.

Ooo! same here! Jeans all summer long for me, thanks. Or if it's miserable enough and I don't need pockets or belt loops to hang things from, I'll wear long flowing floral skirts (but I prefer my jeans.)
You should get him a little hammer and peg set for his birthday... I did that for my nephew for his first and I swear his mother was complaining at every turn because he was pounding on everything but the pegs with that hammer. 
Moms looovveee gifts like that. *grin*
