Things seem to get better and better this year since moving from Dallas to Austin, so much happier to be here! This city is so gnarly, especially since SXSW was out of control this year - the most people I've ever seen in the city, hands down. Venues were running out of beer (say what?), trash was spilling out into the streets and it looked worse than Detroit. Gross.

I've had the itch to get tattooed since last August when Sam Chamberlain did my feet, and it's finally time again! Myke Chambers is visiting from Philly and I was lucky enough to get a time for this Tuesday at noon. Planning to get a tiger's head wearing a tophat, pictures coming soon. Woohoo! And I'll be off work until Thursday with plenty of time to heal and relax. But my three day overnight work "week" changed from March to April and I'll now be working Thursday, Friday, Saturday for the whole month, so goodbye weekends.

But possibly the best news of all - I just found a new bike route into Austin that should cut time off my commute AND bypass away from some of the fucked up construction areas! This might just be the best week ever!

Nothin' like celebrating with a nice fat bowl before riding out. And remember - please be kind to cyclists!
