I had a long entry planned about my woes but fuck it, I've had an abscess in my neck and had to be in hospital for the best part of a week on-off. Boo hoo I'm almost better now, now on with stuff that is fun.
10 days 'till CENTINEX
... although inspite of ordering my tickets on Feb 1st they still haven't sent them to me. 
still this lets me lynch a guy in a suit (I don't shoot the messenger I shoot the boss) 
Update: some 100% good news, my copy of Brave Yester Days (Katatonia's EP compilation) turned up today and it's damn awesome, all of you should track this down ASAP

Well the last few days have been a bummer, my glandular feaver resurfaced, forcing me to cancel any plans to go anywhere or do anything. In particular it stopped me from jamming out some stuff for my new band with the guitarist (who is the guitarist in the band I just left). Most annoying of all is that it resurfaced while my Girlfriend had come over to visit, but as opposed to going home early she satyed and nursed me which was very sweet of her. The new Dr. Who's infinite suckage also upset me greatly.
On the plus side my next peice of Coursework for Animal Conservation is looking good, we are supposed to get 30 refferances at least with at least 20 of the being Journal articals, doing a quick serch on Science direct pulled up 34 relevant articals and there are 2 more journal sites I can try before then Its an interesting projecvt too, an individual case study on the conservation of an endangered species of our choice, I'm doing Grizzly Bears
Back to uni on Friday, all my friends have been to Prague so there'll be a lot to tell me at least, plus I can get back to my beloveed keyboard and I'm taking my Girlfriend sightseeing
On the plus side my next peice of Coursework for Animal Conservation is looking good, we are supposed to get 30 refferances at least with at least 20 of the being Journal articals, doing a quick serch on Science direct pulled up 34 relevant articals and there are 2 more journal sites I can try before then
Its an interesting projecvt too, an individual case study on the conservation of an endangered species of our choice, I'm doing Grizzly Bears Back to uni on Friday, all my friends have been to Prague so there'll be a lot to tell me at least, plus I can get back to my beloveed keyboard and I'm taking my Girlfriend sightseeing
Well after a long hard slog including 2 all nighters I finally finished my only peice of Coursework for this half of the semester... a practical on Barn Owl fecaes... 
I wish I haddent taken those online keybaord lessons so seriously, yes my music is now more accurate technically but I can't put any soul in it... well not yet, I'm sure it'll come but in my current state of semi-delerium I'd love to jam out some dreamy soundscapes...
For the first time this year it felt like spring today, it was nice to have a bit of warmth but when I came home my room was a lot brighter than I was used to... it felt strangely empty as if I already miss the winter... not sure how much is due to lack of sleep tho'
Still this forbodeing feeling of emptieness at least got me to finally get round to listening to that Until Death Overtakes Me album thats been on my hard drive for aproching 6 months now and thankfully its brilliant. Yet another superb addition to th Funeral Doom genre which I believe will become the next big thing in the Metal underground soon, especially considering the rising cult status of Skepticism (who remain my faveroites in this genre).
