Sorry I've been absent for soooo long. Academic obligations are killing me this month (PS: classes haven't even started yet)... But I'm back!
Lots of thing happened those last days... Lots of working, and studying, just like I like it!
Here's the costumes I'm working on this month and the next... It will be a really sweet play for children called "The Book Gardener", it's about two little girls who live in a garden where books grow instead of flowers! They'll present it in libraries and book shops, and every week they'll read a different book for a group of kids...
Also, got reaaaally waisted in celebration(S) of my success in passing the Semiotics Program. Pics from those gatherings were (wisely) censored. But I had lots of fun!! I'm seriously considering making myself a "bitch high as fuck" tee for those ocasions...
My research group reunions already started, and I'm very excited abou studying the silhouette of Augusta Street (it's a very famous street in Sao Paulo where you can find ANYTHING, from fancy designer shops to cheap prostitutes), so, you can expect adventures starting very soon!
And finally, javierjayme and I started talking about shooting my next set veeeery soon... (But meanwhile, Soho is still there for those who haven't seen it and shown some love yet! BB_ - Soho )

It was a really nice weekend, my brother's birthday, lots of parties, but always checking SG on the cell phone to see how the set was going... But now, back to reality: lots of meetings this week, and stuff to study... also, got a few jobs as a photographer, and that's alway FUN.
Meanwhile, "Soho" is still on member review, and I know lots of you did not check it yet...

Today is such a happy day for me! I'll try to be quick...
First of it, I had a meeting in the morning (I cannot describe how much I HATE breakfast meetings) and received great news: my project of a play for children was approved! So they can call us any minute to buy our play! So happy about it! I'll tell you more and show some sketches of it later!
Also, came home to see my English Proficiency test results, and I passed!!
ALSO, received an email from the Strictu Sensu program I'm applying, and I passed that too!!!
So, to complete my day, today is the day when you can make me a suicide girl

Today is such a happy day for me! I'll try to be quick...

Hello readers!
I had the craziest life experience so far today: went to a karate dojo to have a yawara seitai session. It's a japanese massage inspired by judo and karate, and they can cure pretty much anything with the massage (including breathing alergies!). So I went there. To see if the old Shida (he's 60 and shorter than my leg, looks like a mini ninja but in physical therapist clothes) could fix my groin (I hurt it really bad trying to strech my leg last year, in a ballet class).
First, I totally recomend yawara seitai if you have any kind of bone injury. The thing WORKS. But you must know that the guy will, literaly, beat the pain out of you. He folded me in a zillion positions, and beat me repeatedly with his elbows, and knees, and with a wooden stake and a hammer. And then he put fire one me. (LOL, it was a moxa stick). In my ass, more specifically. Now I have 22 burn marks in my hip. But you know what? It was totally worth it. I could strech perfectly after it, and the pain is considerably better. I have class tomorrow, so I'll know for sure...
Then, when I came back, in incredible good mood, my friend asked me to take a photo with my webcam, making a funny face, 'cause he's building a timeline image with photos of different people doing funny faces. So I did it... Here's the result:
The big day is coming, readers! Soon my set will be on member review... this will probably be the last preview I'm showing you guys, so, let's make it a big one! Then it'll be the whole thing... can't wait!!!!

So, in a week from now (plus a few hours) my set, shot by javierjayme will be available for member review. It will also be my brother's birthday. And the results for my english proficiency exam. Ask me if I'm anxious about next friday...
Meanwhile, I had a really calm week, just reading, resting, doing my things. But next week I'm booked again for photographing a really handsome actor and a couple of friends (my work partner, who I shot as Marilyn and her lover). Really excited about those! Also, I miss being super busy. I think I'm a little addicted to work. But just a little!

Hello readers...
Long time without posting, I know. Things got a little crazy this week, but I finally delivered my pre-project, and now I'm just anxious about it being approved or not... also, I have an english test tomorrow, but I think it will be ok (since all we have to do in those proficiency tests, at least in Brazil, is to read some texts and answer questions (in portguese!) about it, or maybe translate a little bit...). Then, so far so good...
But I also did a lot of nice things, such as going to a nightclub I actually hate, but there's a really nice party going on there, it's the São Paulo's Burlesque Take Over... disliked most of the girls (some where pretty, but had no idea about what they were supposed to do there, and really bad costumes too, unfortunately), but there was this boy there who totally blew me away! He's such a great dancer, and did some really creative scenes (then I learned it's actually "boylesque", when its a guy doing it... made me laugh). Too bad I coudn't find any decent videos of him!
Saw some friends I haven't seen for a long time, had lots of fun, and now I'm back. Actually, I also wanted to say how happy I am about the sets I'm seeing on member review and set of the day... girls, YOU ROCK!! Keep the good work coming!

Hello dear readers!
My brain is driving me crazy. I'm spending way too much time with bad bad people (such as Nietzsche, Deleuze, Freud &co) and they're twisting my head. I got so involved that I almost lost my ballet class, but I didn't, and it was a hell of a great class. I decided to stop beeing a pussy about it and making the entire class on pointe, and it was great to do it after 9 years without actual dancing. It was so much fun. I know I'm kinda old for that stuff, but seriously, I'm happy!!!
Plus, bought new shoes!! (and that sort of completes the happiness... hahaha).
So, to finish this post, some fun for you! May 25th seems so far away...

Cold day, full of mini heart attacks...
First, almost lost all the iphone contacts (I actually thought I did for like an hour... it was refusing to be restored from the backup). Then I started liking the idea... I mean, we normally have like a zillion contacts, but how many people do we ACTUALLY call/message? 10? (in my case, lately, maybe less...). When it finally restored my contacts, I was almost sad... Then I made myself a favor, and deleted lots of people from my list. It's important, I think, to put the past in its place.
Later, I discovered (by accident) that I only have till friday for submiting my master degree project, or I'll loose the selection. I have it almost ready (actually, it's a theme that would be of interest of most people here: lingerie, specially corsets, and the political background in which they were 'invented'), but the final touches will probably take the entire week. I'm excited, anyway!
All this crazy turns made me decide to start a diary. A paper one, the real deal, not the virtual/blogging thing. I have this pretty notebook by teNeues a friend gave me for christmas in 2010 (I'm not sure if I'm the only one who has difficulties in using really pretty notebooks someone gave me), and it seems perfect for the task! I'll let you know how it is going...
Last but not least, as it is a past x future day, I decided to upload those really old pics. That's me posing for my ex boyfriend in january 2009, we did lots of those, for a specific job, but since the client was crazy, we ended up not selling them...
Now, back to nerdy subjects, Schopenhauer waits for me...
