The knifing of a random Hispanic and my heart-



It's about time I actually updated.
Things have been so crazy.

So.

Let's start with the good things first.
I'm doing really well in school.
I have two amazing jobs.
One at Soulfire and the other at the Garment District in Cambridge.
I'm moving into a great new place in lower Allston with two
great girls the first of the month.


And that's all the good.
The not so good-


The guy I've been with for the past four years left me two weeks ago.
I moved up to Boston to be with him.
He moved me up here and left for a four month tour three days later.
He dumped me over the phone ( I hadn't seen him in almost five months)
and came the next day to get all of his things from my apartment.

After an excruciating week of not hearing from him, he finally sent me a string of texts
while I was at work not able to check my phone that implied he realized he had fucked up.

So now that's in limbo.

So this morning I awoke at appx. 5:15 a.m. to a random fucked up Hispanic in my kitchen
going through my fridge and a broken out living room window.
He tried to come into my bedroom and I had to pull a knife on him to get him out of the apartment.
He finally left and the cops came.
When the cops opened the curtain to access the damage to the window, the guy was standing in the parking
lot looking down into the window.

So they chased him down the street to no avail.
They came back into the apartment and started to get my witness report.
While they were writing notes he tried to come BACK in the window with the cops in my place
with a cop car out front.

Might I also add I live in a basement apartment so the window is a foot drop under the pavement.
I don't know how he got in, but the cops said he had obviously been watching the apartment.

Right now I have a piece of plywood as a window and I'm just hoping he doesn't come back.
Apparently he just got out of prison for raping a bunch of college girls.
So.
Great.

If anyone feels like keeping watch at my stairwell, please let me know.
I don't know what to do.

I'm also feeling really discouraged about the whole SG thing.
I thought for sure the last set would get me pink and it didn't.
I've seen a few sets that have gone pink that I thought weren't as good.
I know that's not my place to judge, but I'm pretty bummed.
I'm considering taking all my sets down and forgetting about it.

I don't know.

But, here is a picture of me and of my new roomies for you.
It's about a month old now, but it's the most recent picture I have.
