Well let's recap this past week. Saturday morning a tree fell on my house, lived in a motel until Wednesday and, well things have been better. They didn't get the damn tree off the house until Wednesday. That wasn't the main problem, the rest of the tree had a huge crack and if it gave way it would have smashed through the kitchen and living room. Yesterday my brother and I stapled a tarp up over the damaged section of roof and we are still waiting for the insurance adjuster to come back and let us know if the frame is bent or not. If not, no problems, we can get everything fixed. If it's bent, were fucked. They will total the place out and we will have to start over again somewhere else. If it's repairable it is going to take a while to get it done, two of the walls in the master bedroom will have to be replaced, part of the roof replaced and the siding in the last section of wall replaced. Just for the record, this week has totally sucked and I need to take a three day long nap.
