Ah! I was beginning to worry my free account reactivation expired -- but it turns out I just got logged out somehow and couldn't remember my password. Still, I think it's getting close to the cutoff. That reactivation was in March or April and was only good for 3 months as I remember.
New books are made -- 'Tis Pity She's a Whore and Fanny Hill. Them's illustrated.

Apparently Simon Pegg is filming a movie in my town. I wonder if I should make a point of hanging around places where he's being seen and try to harrass him about the script I sent him. I'd probably be the only girl under age 65 for miles, so I bet he would talk to me!
I wish I knew something about HTML besides the most basic things (though, frankly, I don't wish it so hard that I'm up for immersing myself in something I find so boring...)
Nevertheless -- my website, http://www.taliastarot.com has, you will notice, this eternal empty space underneath the navigation bar. It seems that space could be used for something of merit, like ads for books or testimonials or something. But I'm working from readymade templates, and the template doesn't allow anything in that space.
And I really do need to boost my booksales this month, but I am running out of ideas.

Amazon finally got up a blurry washed out photo for Rue Morgue at http://amzn.com/1442184167
However, they still have not corrected the false attribution of me as the author, instead of Edgar Allan Poe; I wrote in recommending that be fixed. There was a similar trouble with David Garrick, I recall.
In other news, I cut my hand making my own shoes. I so far have a pair of lasts, and a piece of wire to hold up the shoe. If I want to use my salvaged heels I might have heels too -- but I'm trying to devise a way to make heels from scratch. Lost-wax struck me as possible, but where to find plastic? See, I am tired of ever-changing fashion forcing me to waste my time each season trying to find something I want, instead of being able to just get the same shoe I bought 6 months ago. Also, I bet once I'm set up for shoemaking it's going to be cheaper than most good shoes out there (Like that $200 pair I've been eyeing.)
I still need: buckram, papier mache pieces which I'll mold, whatever the outside of the shoe will be made from (I might start with fabric for practice), and either heels or materials to make a pair of heels. Also might need some marine varnish for the papier mache so it won't fall apart.

Rosetta Stone is having a $100 off Father's Day sale. I wish I could buy that stuff, but even -$100 that's $150 or more for the software.
They have Rosetta Stone for LATIN!

For some reason Amazon and CreateSpace still don't have the art up for the cover I did for Murders in the Rue Morgue. This is what it looks like:

http://amzn.com/1442184167 is where you can buy it -- nevermind that I'm wrongly listed as author, I think they'll fix that once the art's up.

'Tis Pity She's a Whore is taking longer than expected, mainly because I'm having trouble getting my formatting done at the public computer lab at the teen center -- my laptop doesn't have good enough software. It's hard to concentrate on the 17th century English when there's some pair of 14 year olds flirting loudly in that horrible kid way where they mostly just insult each other, with the whiney local accent, and people my age bringing in their toddlers to run around unsupervised while daddy plays online poker and the kid screams out to him for attention every 2 minutes, and 17 year olds listening to annoying hiphop with choruses about "birthday sex" turned up to full volume.
In the meantime, in case anyone forgot, here's all my other books! http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/search-handle-url/ref=ntt_athr_dp_sr_2?%5Fencoding=UTF8&search-type=ss&index=books&field-author=Talia%20Felix

Okay, was able to toss together eough pictures for Fanny Hill -- sent that off to the printer today.
Also today, my new version of The Murders in the Rue Morgue came through, so that's for sale now (though it might be a little while before it's on Amazon.) If you like Poe, consider getting a copy -- it's the one with the most morbid cover of any edition.
