Finally got someone to complain about my terrible rudeness at work -- yay!

(Fact: I have a temporary acting job in an interactive art piece, where the artwork consists of a waiting room, and I'm supposed to be a rude and unhelpful receptionist -- the point of the artwork is the sitting and waiting, something about a commentary on the age of instant information. Officially the only things I'm allowed to say are "Take a number" "Take a seat" and "That's not my job" although, other things can be improvised as needed. I also control the number being called up, and according to the artist, if the visitors complain about the wait I'm supposed to make them wait longer.)

Two guys came into the exhibit, took numbers and seats and evidently didn't understand how the piece worked so assumed this was some legitimate waiting room. One guy asked me how long the wait was going to be and I answered, "That's not my job to know." Then the guy grumbled back, "Well, you should make it your job." And so at that point I began running the numbers backward to make them wait longer. The guys got fed up and went into the next room without waiting for their number (which is fine, I'm not supposed to stop anyone if they do that) and afterwards went out and complained about me, though of course then the staff member explained that that's all part of the piece.
